Linde Werdelin Hard Gray DLC: First USA Limited Edition
Linde Werdelin presents its first limited edition for the U.S. market C the Hard Gray DLC (Diamond Like Carbon). The Hard series is based on LW’s original The One' model, but with a different bezel, hands, color and dial to create a unique aesthetic. The case, in DLC gray coating, is unlike any Linde Werdelin has previously offered. The case shares the same dimensions as the rest of the Linde Werdelin watches to ensure the safe attachment of both The Rock and The Reef instruments for extreme skiing and diving respectively. The Hard Gray DLC also features vivid color contrast between the red logo and the bright yellow hands and luminous hour markers. The steel case for this limited edition first goes through a hardening process. It is then microbille finished (micro-bead blasted) before the DLC is applied in the coating chamber (image below). This ensures an even tougher case coating. Next, the case is blasted with approximately one-thousandth of a millimeter of carbon to create
Sinn 556i Review
Sinn watches hardly need an introduction here on w&w. Generally a favorite amongst tool watch fans, military watch fans and affordable watch enthusiasts; Sinn's pack incredible craftsmanship, over-engineered tech and restrained style all into generally accessibly priced packages. From their newest offerings every year at Basel, to reviewing some of their classics, to an exclusive interview with brand founder, Helmut Sinn, we've got the brand pretty well covered. If you need a refresher, or this is your first time encountering them, check out our Sinn archive.Today, I'll be taking a look at the entry-level Sinn, the 556i. Since the review will talk about everything the watch has going in its favor, here I will talk about what it doesn't have: Sinn tech. Sinn is known for it's various technologies, most notably Tegimented cases

At least I think so:These are Jacek's pix of a watch I bought from him a while ago. My lack of photographic skills are well documented here.
