Bedat & Co. No. 8 Watch For Men Available On James List
Bedat & Co. has an interesting history for not being such an old brand. Life, lost, and then reborn, the brand today is now trying to attack Cartier's market share for women's pieces. During the brand's former life (and potentially again in its future) it had a few men's models as well. One of my favorite of them (and one of the only ones) was the Bedat & Co. Number (No.) 8.Wit a sort of cushion shaped case that had a round dial, the watch comes in a few flavors. There was a power reserve model, and one with a bit date, as well as this most basic version that happened to also be a limited edition model. This is known as the Ref. 878 series of Bedat & Co. No. 8 men's watches. Each of the versions (a few steel, gold, and maybe a platinum one) were offered as a limited edition of just 878 pieces. The dials started with Bedat's really nice hands. For good luck, the number 8 was place at o'clock in contrast to the other applied baton hour markers. Each model has a deeply textured
Ulysse Nardin Astrolabium Galileo Galilei Watch Features Lots Of Info: Doesn't Know How To Share The Knowledge
Ask someone wearing a Ulysse Nardin Astrolabium Galileo Galilei watch what time it is, and they may be forced to flash their wrist at you rather than respond. So what time is it? Your guess is as good as mine. While I can figure it out, this watch reminds me a Dr. Seuss creation gone wrong (all it needs is fur of some sort). So much information, it is virtually a practical joke. The watch is touted as providing information useful to astronomers. Meaning they need something to distract their view for a couple of hours while they figure out what time it is? All kidding aside, this is a nice looking watch, that costs a bundle (used one is on eBay right at over $20k). Only thing, is that it is helplessly confusing. If you study a list of all the features it purportedly has, you'll agree it is impressive, if not overkill. Here is one of those machines that tells you real information, but information nonetheless you don't need to know.An example? It indicates the "Draco line." Yea, that is wh

Indeed, OBS must be very busy
Went into the Omega store in Sydney today and was pleasantly surprised to see that all servicing is now done on site, rather than sent off to the Swatch service centre in Melbourne.Unfortunately though it seems that there is currently an 8 week wait on servicing.
Difference between 5726A and 5726/1A
Hi, just wondering what else is different between these two besides bracelet/strap?I saw the movement pictures on 5726A(strap version), it shows 324/303, and on 5726/1A(bracelet version), it shows 324. I thought the movement inside these two are the same.Thanks.
