VIDEO: Swatch Creative Director Carlo Giordanetti Presents The Spring/Summer 2014 Collections
There's no denying that Swatch is one of the most important ambassadors for wristwatches to the general public. Whether you're a serious collector or someone who's never worn a wristwatch, you know Swatch. We sat down with Swatch Creative Director Carlo Giordanetti to talk about both Swatch's current offerings and it's greater place in the world of watchmaking. Sure, the purists might say that a quartz watch is a quartz watch, but that would be to miss the point of Swatch entirely. 1 OF 4 Giordanetti first joined Swatch back in 1987 and served for ten years (with a short break from 1992-1995) in a variety of roles. After another hiatus, he returned in 2012 to take the reins as creative director. Speaking with Giordanetti, it's difficult to keep the word "dreamer" out of your thoughts C and we mean this in only the best ways possible. It takes a certain personality to truly believe that colorful plastic wristwatches can make an impact on not just the people who wear them b
This or That - Playing Field Leveled
So I had a chance to stop by the NYC AP Boutique...yet again. And the lovely people there had both a new 15400 and a new 15300 (with the updated clasp and bracelet). So for me it's now all about which size is best for me. I don't really have much of an opinion about dial design but I do think that if I went for a 15300 I'd look for a white dial with the updated clasp/bracelet as it makes the watch look a little bigger (Mike's continuous barrage of pics also helps)Here are the pics. I hate you all for pushing me into the awesome and expensive world of Audemars Piguet.

I've been looking for a reasonably priced and minty 3575.20 for some time now and I finely found one earlier this week. Well, she arrived yesterday and I couldn't be happier! The blue really sets off the cream dial and the metallic moonphase really beings the whole piece together. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
AT-Teak Opaline Silver, Silver, Blue?
Just curious if anyone has one of these to share pics of. I am pretty sure I looked at this watch in our AD the other day, but no surprise, the AD never heard of this color, or Teak Grey! He said according to his Rep, it was charcoal. I politely stated I read it on Omega's website. In any event, the new AT is simply beautiful and timeless, and I have fallen head over heels for them. Just a great looking watch, and I'm afraid I will have to have one in the near future. I like the Teak Grey as well, but I want to see the new blue dial too. Apart from most, I will most definately get the 38.5 version. Just perfect for me. AD showed me a Golf thinking it would wow me and while nice, I want the mid-size. He was surprised to say the least. If anyone has pics or input, bring it on please!
Wait times for a 5167
I was wondering if there were some recent experiences with how long wait times are at USA AD's.
