PO 8500 Help Silver or Orange Numbers???
LOVE the PO 8500 and am set on the black/grey ceramic bezel, but stuck on choosing number color. The details of the applied numbers are really shown with the orange, but do you think it throws the balance of the dial off. Current collection is GMT IIC, White Daytona, Speedy Pro, IWC 5001-07 and Mark XVI. Looking for a fun dive watch that can be very versatile. Orange or Silver?
3970E white gold advice needed
I have an opportunity to buy my first Patek and I'm thinking of white gold 3970E 1996 - I know its third series and all serviced by patek. What advise can you experts give me in this watch what should I look out for what should come with the watch in terms of box papers etc - I beleive it should have a solid case and sapphire case and a pusher. I want to make sure it's totally original ( it has a silver dial ) and any pics would be fully appreciated and guide price very welcome. Thanks guys

I'm looking for a new strap, any ideas, quite fancy a dark tobacco croc strap, does anyone have any pics of a 504 or 505 on different straps to the original?
Incoming & A Serious First World Problem
Okay, so the Rolex that first brought me to the brand was not the first Rolex that I ended up buying. I was seeking a Sub ND but found and very much liked a BLNR. Like many a first-time buyer, I allowed myself to get distracted. Long story short, the BLNR did not suit me well (the PCLs scratched easily and the extra pop worked better as an idea in the showroom than as a daily wearer in my everyday casual life) and I sold it a few months after buying it.I was going to have that Sub ND! But I couldn't find one easily, so I decided to wait for my AD to get one while biding my time by buying what I at first considered to be a cheaper alternative. Damn, that cheaper alternative ended up suiting me so very well that when I finally did get the Sub ND (today!!) and returned home, I found myself realizing just how much I LOVE this damned cheaper alternative...this Pelagos in-house...Of course, I will be taking those stickers and bezel protector off soon, I just know it. But this Pelagos ended
Common up-charge for an AD to send watch to RSC?
Is it common in your area for an AD to charge a lot more to send a watch for RSC to repair? When I was buying my BLNR the other day a guy walked in and said his watch didn't work. The lady said they could send to RSC but he minimum charge if it was just a basic service was $1,250 on his Submariner. I couldn't believe my ears!
