What are your opinions on the lug holes?
I really dislike the lug holes of the watches from the RO and ROO line. I think it takes away from the aesthetics of the watch and looks ugly and old fashioned. The daytona looks beautiful without the lug holes and i wish AP would get rid of them. I am considering the 15400 and i think it would be perfect without the lug holes. Do you think AP will ever remove them?
No more AP jewelry
My friend brought this to my attention and it was confirmed this weekend at the NY boutique. AP is no longer making jewelry (i.e. rings, though not sure what else might be included). I believe they will still make their very nice but very expensive cufflinks. I'm glad I got my rings while they still made them, but it is a bit disappointing that they are discontinuing it.
Will a DJ36 or 114060 fit in?
Hey all. I've been going back and forth on my next watch and am unsure what to do and would like some opinions.I currently have the following watches:A. I will not sell the Lange or Milgauss as they have sentimental value. I am currently leaning towards selling the Snowflake, but would either the DJ or Sub be too redundant with the other 3 Rolex that I ha
What do you think is...
Hi all,What do you think is the nicest color for the DJ 41 WITH fluted bezel and Jubilee - and why do you think that?I think black but please prove me wrong with your whist shots!Alex
Tips for cleaning a Sub
Hello guys and gals :)I've been starting to think about cleaning my 2 month old two tone submariner.I was reading on the Rolex site that they recommend using soapy water and a soft brush.I saw other some people recommend Wristclean. I saw several members of this forum use Dawn dish soap.I also read something about using a soap that has no Ammonia in it.My question is, is there a soap that you all use that won't damage the rubber seals inside the watch and is easy to find? By this I mean something that isn't specifically made for cleaning watches like Wristclean. If so, can you please share what soap you use and why? Many thanks in advance!
