Review of the Casio G-Shock Gulfman (GW-9100) From WatchReport.com

In-Depth: Inside The Christie's Patek Philippe 175th Anniversary Auction
On November 9th of this year, Christie's will play host to the most impressive sale of Patek Philippes ever assembled. The 100 lot evening auction was hand-selected by Christie's to tell the full story of Patek Philippe with nothing but the finest examples in the world. No doubt, collectors everywhere will be watching the Patek 175 sale closely, and now that the catalog has been released online and is being shipped out to those who have ordered one, we thought we would dig into the lots and give our thoughts on our favorite watches, from perpetual calendar chronographs to ladies watches, as well as show you some live pics. We could easily write about all 100 lots, but we will leave it to you to peruse the full auction catalog telling the story of Patek Philippe. Here we'll just show you a few of our favorite lots in the sale in all their glory. 5131R & 5575G Photoshoot
Recently had a get together over coffee with a fellow Patek owner. Took a few pictures of his 5131R and 5575G alongside my own 5131R.Quite astounding how different the 5131R's are from each other. Mine is a 2015 model and his a 2016 version so the city rings differ.Aside from the actual words and the huge variation in the cloisonn enamel itself there are also quite a few other differences - care to play spot the differences?
Rolex to Remove "Oyster" Reference From their Lineup...
O.K., Don't shoot the messenger. I recently learned that Rolex is planning to remove Oyster as a reference to most of their line-up. Apparently they no longer want be viewed as insensitive and this will prevent Shellfish/Bivalves from feeling offended. Has anyone else heard of this newest development? Let the speculation begin...
