BaselWorld 2008 - CONCORD C1 Tourbillon Gravity, Defying More Than Just Belief
Last year the luxury watch brand Concord moved to reposition itself as an even more exclusive luxury brand, with innovative, edgy designs and its former lines reduced to one, the new C1. When this spectacularly sportif, hunkily elegant new watch called the Concord C1 was first launched at BaselWorld 2007, last April, the entire production a thousand units sold out in one day. It seems that Concord is intent on repeating that impressive performance this year with their new offering, the Concord C1 Tourbillon Gravity. One look at this incredible timepiece and its pretty difficult to imagine that they will have any trouble. This new offering does more than just re-enforce the company's ethos: The Watch. Reconstructed. the new Concord C1 Tourbillon Gravity effectively makes it a statement of fact. The Tourbillion was first invented in 1801 as a solution to the challenges of gravity. Now in 2008, Concord pays tribute to this horological tradition. An astounding time-measuring instrument,
Red RO Bezel?
Just a little fun post. My 2.5 year old has been asking me to get him a watch for a while now (the first time he asked me it melted my heart...almost as memorable as his first time calling me dad ).Saw this little guy and thought it would be fun to pick up for him. Who can resist a RO inspired bezel with Spiderman? Even the case is similarly styled as a RO case complete with rubber strap It's definitely a bit bigger than I expected as beside my Jumbo it actually looks pretty big, but I guess big watches are the trend these days, right?Quick pic of our father and son watches. Will take some wrist shots when I get the chance.
Omega POC in Menorca

Speck of dust under Sapphire Grrrrrr!!
Hello all! I have noticed a speck of dust on the inside of the glass on my GV Millgauss. While at first I did not mind it, it has slowly been eating at me and it's getting to the point where I need to figure out if it needs service, or any watch maker can fix this problem for me. I just don't want to part with it for weeks if I can help it. It's not under any factory warranty, but I recently had the glass changed out because the original had many scratches and needed to be replaced. Here's a pic, it's the speck under the middle of the minute hand. Thanks in advance! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
