Introducing: The F.P. Journe Limited Edition Steel Set, Celebrating The End Of 38 MM With Something
For a brand that has only been around for a little over 16 years, F.P. Journe has developed a sizable following among serious watch collectors. As such, every subtle variation, nuance, and change is noted with great interest. Today’s announcement celebrates one such change – and in a very dramatic way. When the brand started selling watches back in 1999, F.P. Journe watches were only available in 38 mm cases. A few years later the 40 mm size was introduced and the majority of watches to follow were available in both case sizes. The 38 mm was the traditional choice of purists, but things change. From now on, watches in the Journe collection will only be available in 40 or 42 mm cases (with the exception of the Chronometre Bleu, which is still 39 mm). 1 OF 12 To commemorate the end of 38 mm watches, F.P. Journe has unveiled a box set of five watches, and here’s the awesome part – they in 38 mm stainless steel cases with bronze-colored dials! Discoun

My first AP and I must admit it is a stunning watch, the dial, the bracelet and it wears sooooo comfortably. One happy AP customer here. Hope to post more pictures in different settings.

My Constellation has a weak lume, any suggestion??
Here is a picture of my aging but still reliable (other than the lume) constellation:When it is FULL charged it is fine.....but I find at night (even it still glow, it is really blurry, you can hardly see or cant even tell the time). Do I need to send it for a service?? Should go with the OMEGA service? or other watchmakers? How much do you think OMEGA will cost? Does OMEGA also polish the watch like ROLEX service?
Speedy reduced service...
If you'll remember, I picked up this Speedy Auto a while back: (HERE).It was runnning way too fast and the lume was deteriorated pretty bad on the hands. For giggles, I got in touch with Dalton Toledo of ABC Watchworks to see if he'd be interested in tinkering with the infamous engine and give it a service...We talked cars for a while and then, being the gent that he is, he said send it in!Got it back a couple days ago. Would it surprise anyone that it's now running only 3 seconds off per day? It also has brand new hands and the pushers are alot friendlier to push. Subdials still not aligned perfectly, but they're notorious for that issue even when new...and this one's 20+ years old.Gotta give a thumbs-up to Dalton Toledo. Highly recommended.
