Ulysse Nardin and Visconti Create Unique Fountain Pen
For more than 165 years, Ulysse Nardin has created exclusive timepieces. Now the manufacture from Le Locle has teamed up with writing instrument specialist Visconti to present a classic communication tool the reflects the finest traditions of passion and craftsmanship. The fountain pen is hewn from a block of deep Ulysse Nardin blue resin. More than 20 steps are required to produce the resin sections alone. The metal parts, made of 18k gold or .925 sterling silver, are produced in Florence at the Visconti headquarters. The pen’s patented mechanical parts offer many attractive features, such as the bayonet closure system with safety mechanism whereby the cap can be locked shut with just a quarter turn. Introducing: The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Chronograph 45.5mm, Omega's First METAS Certified Master Chronograph
The Planet Ocean Collection was first launched in 2005 and has become a mainstay, in the last 10 years, of Omega's sports watch collections. This year Omega has released a brand new Planet Ocean 45.5 mm Chronograph, with a new co-axial chronograph movement (METAS/Master Chronometer certified, a first for Omega chronographs) and in new materials. It's one of three Master Chronometer certified Seamasters in the new-for-2015 Seamaster Planet Ocean Master Chronometer Collection, along with the new Seamaster Planet Ocean 43.5 mm Auto, and the Seamaster Planet Ocean 43.5 mm GMT. As you may know, the current Planet Ocean Chronograph 45.5 mm features the co-axial caliber 9300 movement in titanium with blue dial and bezel. This year's Baselworld release features a new movement: the automatic co-axial chronometer caliber 9901/9900. This is one of the first generation of movements to be certified by METAS (the Swiss Federal institute of Metrology) and thus, one of the first generation (alo
Stupid AP question
I would like one day to get a RG watch, but the 44 will probably be too big for me, plus I don't really care for chronos, it would be awesome if AP one day made a RG diver with ceramic bezel on rubber, so if anyone has close ties with AP management, I know some here do, would be just great if they slipped from time to time in a conversation how great it would be if AP did that, I would 100% get that as my 3rd watch to have my dream trio. What do you think about such a watch? I think it would be really awesome but don't know if it's AP's style to make a RG diver, at the same time most divers of other brands are available in RG and AP did make their diver in different materials...

DateJust II wrist shots (only) thread
okay.... while celebrating at one of our local pubs with the wifey this afternoon, found myself not able to take my eyes off the DJII and thought why not have a wrist shot thread didicated to the new DateJust II.with the increasing number of DJII getting accepted in the Rolex world, there are still loads of people dissing it, due to its new size and oyster bracelet option only.so far there has been some awesome DJII wrist shots, but i think it'd be ideal to have them all in one thread - what do you say?any sorts of wrist shots welcomed, as long as they adhere to the forum rules and is also family friendly - the more the merrier!anyway, i will start... here are some of my wrist shots. my wrist size is 7.25
