APBands conversion kit for 15400
Hey guys,A quick questions for the experts out there. I've searched for a while before making this post, found some answers but not all. Here is my dilemma;Have a Royal Oak 15400 41mmHave the APBANDS RO conversion linksHave an OEM croc strap from a 15300 (39mm?)So the APBANDS links fit and screw into my 15400 just fine. The problem I'm having is the fitment to the 15300 Croc strap. It's almost as if the little notch that sits inside the OEM strap insert is ever so slightly too long.My question is: Does this 15300 strap that I have differ in any way from an OEM strap I should be using for my 15400 model?? It ALMOST fits, seems as though it is .5mm or so off when attempting to push the lug bar through the strap/links. Any help would be appreciated
Finding the perfect travel companion... Incoming 5164A
I got bitten by the Patek bug just a little over 4 months ago and started off with a 5167. I was quite amazed with how well put together it was with its very sleek profile, stunning anthracite dial and supreme comfortness, dare I say one of the most comfortable watches that I have ever owned. I thought I would live forever in happiness with it, and could wait patiently for a 5712.Well that is, until the 5164 caught my eye. When I think Patek, I think complications, and they've done an amazing job of integrating a very practical complication, and somehow made the piece cleaner and more balanced. I've always loved the idea of having a dual time, and bought a BLNR for that purpose, but found the function not so practical to use with having to unscrew the crown and adjust the local time. So then my search began for one. One thing that I simply could not ignore was the huge price tag on the 5164 - it looked like it was going to be a pretty significant cash top-up from the 5167. Radiomir 183 or new reference ?
HiI am interested in buying a Radiomir. I usually prefer to buy mint used as there are some great bargains to be had but I could be persuaded to buy new if there was a distinct advantage. My question is should I buy a good condition Radiomir Black Seal 183 or one of the new references such as a 610 or 380?I prefer the more vintage vibe of the 183 and particularly the sandwich dial which is quite important for me. Yes the newer references have Panerai's in house movement but I really can't see anything wrong with the venerable ETA movements used in the 183 and other older references. Any advice greatly received. Thanks.
Been Awhile Y'all- Incoming
Was supposed to get this back when it came out but never got the call. Have gone into the rabbit's hole with cryptocurrencies in the recent months and have not been around much at all. Heard one of these was available and couldn't sya no. So far so awesome. Hope everyone has been well and Happy Holidays.
