Watch Experts Network: ‘DuBois et Fils DBF003-07 – in-depth watch review by ESCAPEMENT’
A significant dateAngus Davies provides a hands-on' review of the new DuBois et fils DBF003-07. This watch features a big date complication with a visually striking bottle green dial.Throughout history, dates have been used to label momentous events. My parents and their peers would remark, Where were you when Kennedy was shot? . The assassination of JFK, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, on the 22nd November 1963 was of huge historical significance and the date became etched on the minds of a generation. The importance of two digits which denote a date should never be overlooked. A forgotten birthday can be a source of much upset. Many men have been on the wrong end of a tongue-lashing for absentmindedly forgetting an anniversary. One or two numerals can mean so much. Sometimes a small aperture at 3 o'clock employing a sole disc seems inadequate when it comes to conveying the importance of a date. A big date, which is technically more complex, bestows more gravitas than the typical indication

My First Pam! Finally!
First of all, thanks to all the Pam community here on TRF. It was so helpful to hear from so many people each time a 'newbie' like me posted some silly question. The photos you guys post and your knowledge of these watches and explanations about them really pushed me into getting my first one.It was a hard decision as I do not take a 'big' purchase lightly. My last big watch purchase was 19 years ago, so I make sure I know exactly what makes me happy and hope I will be able to look down at it years from now and have it still make me smile. So without further adieu. Here was the day in photos. Cheers! Had to check out the competition, 422, 372. Just to be sure what I was going to get.And the very hot 422 is beautiful. Kinda like a giant 111. That 213 was beautiful as well.I want one of these Straps! They are giant. JK, that is a belt that matches the Pam buckles. My Wife trying on a Hulk, she loved it.A decision was made and a Bank envelope filled with paper for my 'dealer' was offered
Will a DJ36 or 114060 fit in?

I will not sell the Lange or Milgauss as they have sentimental value. I am currently leaning towards selling the Snowflake, but would either the DJ or Sub be too redundant with the other 3 Rolex that I ha
My First Rolex (114060)
So I picked up a brand new 114060 this past Monday from a local AD. I'm stoked I finally have one as I've been saving a bit for it. Here are a few iPhone shots. IMG_5577.JPGIMG_5579.JPGIMG_5580.JPGSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
