Audemars Piguet outdid themselves for 2017 in the ROO collection.
The 2017 SIHH offerings were exceptional and I had to be a part of it.First off, the new 26401RO subtly overtook the old generation. I was in denial since I owned the previous model. The new RO color scheme just works much better when on the wrist. With the black subdials, the dial itself looks less busy and lets the details really shine especially with the rose accents. The old RO was a hit in photos, but on the wrist it was too much going on. Was it worth the premium to upgrade to the new RO? Yes absolutely!If your spending this much money on something, why not spend a bit more instead of settling.The unexpected star of the show is the 26400IO. I purchased both of these timepieces sight unseen. When I arrived the IO SCREAMED at me. Just like any other Royal Oak, PICTURES DONT DO JUSTICE! Resizing Bracelet at AD?
I'm going to need to have a link or 2 taken out when my 15300 gets here at the end of the week. Just so happens we are taking a trip this weekend and will be close to a AP AD so I wanted to check it out anyway. Any idea what they will charge to resize a bracelet? I don't want to pay a outrageous amount to turn a few screws, but none of the places locally are competent enough to do that without jacking something up.Thanks!

I am fortunate enough to finally obtain my 1st Patek & it's a 5119 rg from David SW. Excellent seller and very easy transaction. I initially wanted a 5119 in white gold, but after seeing it in person, was a little underwhelmed. There weren't any yellow gold available and then I saw the RG model & it's beautiful! Yachtmaster Bezel Tarnish?
I am very interested in buying a TT Yachtmaster. However, I would like to know other's opinion and/or clarification/experience with what appears to be a common tarnish/grime buildup on the unpolished portion of the bezel (within the nooks and crannies). Nearly every image of the watch that I see in new or factory/unworn condition spotlights this issue. It is basically a deal-breaker for me if this is the norm for this model, Thanks.
