Introducing The Zenith Academy Christophe Colomb Hurricane Grand Voyage II
Last year, Zenith released the original Academy Christophe Colomb Hurricane Grand Voyage, an exceptionally complex watch that puts a fuse and chain constant force mechanism and a unique Gravity Control module on full display. This year, Zenith is following up on that watch with a sequel, and this one adds ornate decoration and artistry to the mix in honor of Christopher Columbus, for whom the watch is named. There's a lot to take in here, so let's take a closer look at each component. 2 OF 5 The Grand Voyage?uses the same 45 mm case as last year's model, with a thickness that goes from 14.8 mm to 21.8 mm at the domed sapphire crystal. Unlike the original, the new Voyage II adds artistic?embellishments to both the dial side and the display back. The dial side is still largely a cavernous structure, allowing each of the movement components to remain visible. Around the back, there is a vivid portrayal illustrating Christopher Columbus' discovery of America in 1492. The ent

Breitling Steel bracelet question
I have never really looked at Breitling before but saw a 42 mm Marine blue Superocean dive watch from a distance on a Stainless steel bracelet that I thought was beautiful. I have always been a Rolex person. Anyway, I am inclined to order one online but was wondering about the bracelet. Is there a self adjustment mechanism on the bracelet similar to the Glidelock on the Submariner or the Easy link on say the Yachtmaster? If the bracelet is too big or small is it easy to adjust or do you need to take it to the jeweler? I have never seen one in the flesh. If it is hard to adjust i may just get it on a rubber strap. Also, what should I expect to pay for one? thanks for your help to all of you who love and wear Breitling watches :)
The Journey
Lately, I have been thinking about my watch journey and how I got to where I am today. I've been active in the watch world for about 10 years now and its been quite a fun journey. Been to a handful of watch GTGs over the years and have made some really good friends. My first nice watch I purchased on my honeymoon; a two tone Tag Heure Link Chronograph. Two years later purchased a Rolex 14060M to celebrate the birth of my daughter. After that it was off to the races and I have had over 100 watches since then. Thankfully I became friends with the DavidSWs and JustRolexes of the world and got to have fun with watches at rock bottom prices. I've even had the privilege of being around guys with vintage watches that costs hundreds of thousands of dollars. For awhile now I have really enjoyed Panerai. It's a watch brand that I always come back to. I have come to the conclusion that they are some of the best designed watches ever made. As I look at the 372 on my wrist right now, I feel it is a
