This is an interesting limited edition watch that combines everything I like about diving themed watches and the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak lines of watches. Bearing the name of "Wempe," a? line of luxury watch stores strategically placed all over the world, this limited edition of 175 watches is rare and very cool. This watch was created in honor of Wempe's 100th anniversary. The iconic eight sided octagonal Royal Oak watch bezel was never the type of design that was good for a rotating bezel - so Audemars Piguet inserted an internal bezel that resolved the problem of not having a round bezel. The internal uni-directionally rotating bezel is operated via the crown positioned at 10 o'clock. The case is 44mm wide and steel. A rose gold version was also available, but was not as good a value costing 2-3 times the price of this version. ROO RC clasp options?
I just got a ROO RC Rose and I cant stand the clasp. Pretty uncomfortable, my IWC yacht club's rubber band and deployant is pretty amazing. I am currently using it at the first pin hole, the clasp sits on the side of my wrist. I already tried the flipping backwards technique, even though it helps a little, its still not as comfortable as I would like. The AD said its about 220 for a smaller rubber strap, has anyone tried this? Any alternatives? I like the OEM strap...

Cost of Omega PO V Rolex Subs
Just wanted to get some thoughts on the cost of Omega Planet Ocean V Rolex Submariners! I have owned both and recently sold the Sub (2010 model) and kept the Planet Ocean = mainly due to small differences - better bracelet and easier to read.In the UK you can pick up a Planet Ocean for approx ?2300 and a Sub for around ?4000 almost double!The Planet Ocean has a 600 metre dive capacity and the Sub is 300 metre dive capacity, Co Axial for less servicing etc.,in most comparisons I read on the interent (opinion I know) the 2 watches are rated about the same.My question is - Is a Rolex Sub twice as good a Planet Ocean (as the price may suggest) or is there not much between them as I think. Is a Rolex Sub worth the extra money? and why?
