Tried on some Royal Oaks
So I visited the AD and got to try on some ROs. First up was the 15450- the salesman thought I was crazy trying it on but when I put it on, he was surprised it fit. And it didn't need half of the links removed to make it fit. To me it's on the small side compared to my 39mm Explorer but I think it might work out. I think the combo of the sharp edges of the watch plus a bigger diameter makes it too in your face and chunky. Everything about it is gorgeous. What hasnt been your experience with imperfections?
The friend that got me into Rolexes touted the absolute perfection of the product. Now, years hence, I have generally had good experiences with all my watches. Today, I discovered on my new SubC that the Rolex stamp on the inside of the clasp is very obviously heavy on one side of the logo and light on the other half. What have your experiences been with quality control?
