ROO 44 - Ti, old RG or new RG
I've decided to add a ROO 44 to the collection. If you all had to pick, which would you go for? I'd be wearing this relatively casually as I don't dress up often. Side note - is there still new stock of the old style RG? Or did this get discontinued a while back.
Omega GMT with grey & silver bezel
Omega Seamaster 300M GMT 2358 (great white) with full silver bezel.Omega Seamaster 300M GMT 2245 with half black & half silver bezel. You guys know Omega Seamaster 300M GMT with half grey & half silver bezel? This watch is original and is not the black faded turn into grey, is this limited edition or something special ? The owner say he bought it in Germany many years back and now he wanted to sell it, how much should i offer him?
Aquanaut question
Need advice please. I own a 1st generation Aquanaut Jumbo (ref. 5065) - purchased new, never worn, still sealed in plastic from the dealer, Open Papers; a Safe Queen. I know I’m in the minority, but I prefer this over the 2nd generation model. It was a tough watch to find back in the day.Questions: 1) Does this hold any desirability with collectors?2) What price would I expect if put on the market now?
David SW for all of your Patek desires!
I'm pretty new to the forum but I just have to comment on a transaction I had with David SW from Orlando. I bought a Patek 5711 blue dial from him. I traded in my sub as well. First of all the price for the 5711 and the trade in value for my sub were both very fair. Need less to say with a transaction of this magnitude I had a ton of questions for David and he patiently answered each and every one of them. The trade was smooth, on time and overall experience was fantastic. I'll be doing more transactions with David SW. However, I also want to thank all of you on this forum because after researching your opinions on David I felt very confident dealing with him so thank you all who provided me with much needed references on David SW. Happy new year everyone.Cheers!
UK Rolex/Watch insurance
Hi TRFers,I was hoping to seek thoughts from those in the UK (as I am UK based) about watch insurance. How do you insure your watches? Do you cover individually or multiwatch insure? I know people use their home insurance to cover their watches as an option. What if you don't have home insurance or rent? How about for travel (both business and pleasure)?Where can I best read about my options and costs? Many thanks in advance!
