Going To JCK Jewelry & Watch Show In Las Vegas
I'd like to think that JCK is sort of like an American? Baselworld. It isn't, but it is a pretty good step in that direction. While combined with jewelry, JCK attracts a large number of watch brands and I will be attending it this year as a member of the press. This will be my first time going to such an event, so I will take my camera and trust me that I have some good meetings lined up. I might just possibly use up the full 12 gigs of memory card space I have on images over the next few days. There are two elements to the show. First are the expo halls where lots of the brands hang out showing of watches and talking about their products, and then there is all the private meetings and exhibits. Like I said, I have a fair number of appointments, so I should back with a nice haul full of juicy information images. You can visit the exhibitor directory at JCK's website. There are a lot of important brands, distributors, and watch brand group companies. If there are any specific brands you
It is just the feeling ..
I know and can see, most of the earlier Constellations (pre-65) are sought-after by collectors.I intend getting a Constellation watch, too. However, the way the earlier Constellations are priced, definitely they are beyond me.Alternatively, I feel like getting a Constellation 'C' (with caliber 561 or 564), since the asking price is still within reason, but the question is, will it ever be a collectible time-piece, some years from now.Which one is the best to pick up, an 18k solid yellow gold one, pink gold or a white gold one?

Ignorance is Bliss
My situation is history so I am needing input to prevent this from happening in the future. I buy a Rolex and wear it happily for approx. 10 years. Send it to N.Y. for service. Hands are tarnished, so is Dial. Bracelet is stretched. I ask them to get it lookin good again, which they did. Wear it happily for approx. 7 more years. Send it to N.Y. for service again. Needs a few items as before. Watch looks great. I am Happy. The watch is now 50 years old. I realize I have paid Rolex not once but Twice to remove Vintage parts and replace with new. I now have a Vintage Nothing. This was all my doing. How long has Rolex been loading my Gun so I can Shoot myself in the foot? I ain't Easy being Me !
I just got to say it sorry....
I just think the fluted bezel on the Sky Dweller looks out of place. The dial and bracelet shout sport/tool watch to me so the bezel just seems wrong. Anyone else feel like this? If you own one I am not trying to offend. Thoughts...
