Hands-On: The IWC Portugieser Annual Calendar Reference 5035
The IWC Portugieser Annual Calendar debuted this year at the SIHH, as one of the most talked-about introductions from IWC. It’s essentially a variation on the Portuguese Automatic, which launched as the reference 5001 in 2004 but which was preceded by the limited edition Portuguese Automatic 2000, which housed the now-legendary IWC caliber 5000, the forefather of an entire family of movements in the Portuguese/Portugieser line of watches. (The Portuguese Automatic 2000 was available – in the year 2000, natch – in three metals – red gold, steel, and platinum – and you could buy all three as a boxed set the year they came out, for about $45,000.) Any real life shots of the new PO 8500?
I have been dying to see some real life shots of this watch besides the pictures on Omega's website, etc.I was interested in purchasing one of these since September, but the dealer I am trying to get the watch from said they woudn't be in stock until the end of October - never happened. Then he said the end of November, - again never happened. So with that said, I am starting to get a little antsy and I am wondering if anyone has som real life pictures.
Omega Speedmaster 3220
Hi Omega enthusiasts, I am extremely interested in this watch here: .omegawatches/gents/sp...-date/32205000, 40 mm will be perfect for my semi- small wrist. Here is the problem, this Speedmaster has an Omega Calibre 3606, which I read is based on the Valjoux 7751 movement. What is the vibration per hour on this watch, is the seconds hand smooth like a 28800 vph movements? I owned a midsize Omega seamaster blue dial, and the second hand was choppy, hopefully someone can tell me this one has 28800 vph. Thanks friends.
Leather/Croc Strap for me Datejust 41
Anyone put a strap on the new DJ 41? As much as I like the Oyster bracelet I much prefer a strap for daily wear. Any suggestions? I have used Everest in the past on several watches. I think they areterrific but they do not yet accommodate the 41.Anyone???Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Help with purchasing from an international seller on Chrono24
Hi everyone,Looking to purchase a piece from a seller in the States on chrono24 (I'm in the UK). Never done this before so can you help me understand the process of actually paying the money and receiving the watch please? I'm assuming it should be done through a certain payment system so as to prevent me from paying for the watch and never actually receiving it or it arriving and not being as advertised?!Thanks in advance!
