HELP NEEDED: Any UK AP AD contacts?
Hi allI'm looking to place an order for the new Blue dial 15450 but I don't have any AP relationships so don't fancy my chances of being very successful. I've put my name down with one AD but they wouldn't take a deposit which strengthens my view that I am going to get shunted down the list as they prioritise the customers they know.Anyone on here able (and willing) to help?Cheers, Vince
My very 1st AP
Hi Guys,Just got ROO Chrono Panda from an AD here in oz.Wasnt planning to buy this watch... but i guess i shouldnt visit AD on a Boxing Day, unless this is bound to happen :DMerry xmas & happy boxing day everyone!
A difference in the Omega Discussion area...
Maybe I'm alone here, but has anyone else noticed a bit of a shift inthe Rolex discussion forum? It used to be a very friendly, classy place...Lately there seems to be a lot of angry, inflammatory bickering posts and responses...seems like the mods are working overtime..I'm finding myself over here on the Omega sub forum more often...I'm sure that I am probably reading too much into it, and probably getting a selection Bias based on the threads I choose to read, but I feel that over here (the Omega group), the focus is still on the mutual love and appreciation for the timepieces...It just seems friendlier here - Anyone else notice the same??(Bonus Poll:how many posts until someone tells me to go *&^% myself?)

Hi folks,My AD in Zurich has one on hold for me until April 10th. I wont be buying it as it is out of my league but they are happy to sometimes hold watches for me. Normally I ask them to do so for friends and they know I am not in the market myself for such fine pieces. The price is 256kChf before 8% vat refund.I thought I would give you all a heads up that there is one here in Switzerland. With current prices and exchange rates I wanted to share this opportunity.I am not selling it, have no financial benefits (or other benefits that I know of)I am not affiliated with any PP dealers in any wayIf anybody is interested I can forward your details. Fair warning: There is no guarantee of course that they will finally sell it to you, they do a vetting of new clients, asking about your collection/PP ownership etc, so I have no control over whether you will finally get it, but I could offer a chance to jump the lines.Regards,DP.S. Welcome New GMT Pepsi... Welcome...
A reader of the Forum commented that the new GMT is going to be the preferred model of the Rolex catalog and it will be very difficult to achieve. But it would be a Rolex error if it deliberately does not deliver the appropriate amount. What I do believe is that all sports models except the SS Daytona Cerachrom will be terribly affected. All, without exception. Time will tell if I'm wrong. What I'm sure will increase terribly and the price of the old Rolex GMT Pepsi. IMHO.Another person said that Rolex takes care of its customers. I do not think so. How many people bought the GMT Master Pepsi in white gold and now realize that it has an obsolete movement. What value will that watch keep?Greetings guys.
