De Bethune Dream Watch IV: The 4S Shield in Tribute to Steve Jobs
As a tribute to Steve Jobs, De Bethune has created a 12-piece limited edition “spaceship-inspired” iPhone shield in polished and bead-blasted titanium. The Dream Watch IV dial is hand-polished blued titanium with gold and diamond stars. The raised, arrow-shaped “spine” draws the eye to the silvered hour and minute disks. The Dream Watch IV follows De Bethune’s launch of the DBM, a crocodile cell phone case fitted with a traditional two-hand timepiece, referred to by De Bethune as “a pocketwatch for the 21st century.”Of the new Dream Watch IV, De Bethune says it both protects the owner’s iPhone, and shields the owner from any “potentially damaging waves” emanating from the device. Dream Watch IV uses De Bethune’s DB2105S caliber with twin barrels and a silicon/platinum annular balance, both of which are patented by De Bethune. The Dream Watch IV will be officially unveiled at the De Bethune exhibition to be held in the Gra
806 AOPA Navitimer Help
Hey I hope all is well. I had a question for you guys. I just bought this navi 806. It had a dial and hand change in the 60s I have the original dial but not sure it I can be paired. I'm thinking of ordering this chrono hand and slide rule. Does anyone know, 1. How hard will it be to have a watchmaker do the install? 2. Does this hand and sliderule match this reference? I believe the original dial is early 60s and the current dial is late 60s. I haven't seen this chrono hand on another 806 nor the red sliderule. Thanks! Here's the original dial.

How many of y'all have a 14060M as a daily wearer?
I've been looking for something to purchase as an heirloom piece, something to wear everyday and pass down to my son in 25 years or so. After endless research and trying on many watches, I think I've settled on a 14060M 4-liner. No offense to anyone that owns a 114060, my personal preference is just for the look and feel of the 14060M.With that said, how many of y'all wear a 14060M as your daily? Any reason this watch shouldn't last a lifetime and then some (assuming regular servicing and maintenance)?
