APRO targetted
hello all - im hoping to secure a 15400 in the near future.... And wanted to run my situation by those of you who know so much more!In uk - RRP = ?11,810, obviously some discount is negotiable - but in these times of austerity what one may loose on flipping a year or so (optimistic) down the road is concerning. For this reason i started looking around for the best prices on line. Ive found online a chron24, UK dealer - with great reviews - who is selling BNIB APRO 15400 with my name on papers - for ?8,000thats nearly ?4,000 lessits achieved by his relationship with a USA AD - so by means of the US RRP being lower, the exchange rate, and my dealers discount - he passes a considerable saving on to me....Q1. do i have to worry about import tax?Q2. can someone tell me the equivalent US RRP as id like to compareQ3. is warrantee all valid?i guess Q4. might be can anyone find better?and Q5. does anyone know if you can still get 15300, without going 2nd hand?finally Q6. when was the
Any chocolate lovers out there?
Recently picked this up from Kringkily. I really like the different look of the dial and it makes a nice change up from my P.O. 2500. Very comfortable on the leather band.
This one IN THE MAIL...

5270r and the Grey Market
So my next purchase was going to be a 5270r but not I'll next year as I just got my 5905. However, I've been offered a 5270r from a reputable grey market dealer at a price that I don't know that I can pass up. My dilemma is that do I go to my regular AD and ask him to match? If he gets within a few thousand, I'll call it close enough, or do I just go with the grey dealer? Not sure my AD will be able to get close to the price.I'm fairly certain I'll pull the trigger but not sure about buying a watch like this from someone other than an AD. But like I said, price is too good to say no to. Would appreciate the experts feedback on this. First world problems - do I spend a 100k+ on a watch or let the money sit in the bank?
Day Date 36mm Too Small
I'm finding 36mm to be too small for a watch these days.I used to love my gold DD 36mm however it just seems too small compared to other watches. With the trend towards watches 40mm or greater I'm wondering if others are finding 36mm to be too small for a gents watch.I love trying on watches and my wrist isn't that big, but when I try on a watch less than 40mm it seems better suited for my wife.
