Bremont Introduces New Film-Inspired Kingsman Collection
In January the British watch company Bremont brought out a new collection of world-time chronographs. The Bremont Kingsman Special Edition watches were designed in conjunction with the new film Kingsman: The Secret Service, out this month from 20th Century Fox. The three new models, which are worn throughout the film by actors like Colin Firth and Michael Caine, are available for purchase now. In terms of Bremont watch genealogy, the Kingsman Special Edition bears a resemblance to the ALT1 family of watches. It combines a tricompax dial design for the chronograph with a 24-hour world timer. The world-time function is controlled via the crown at 8 o’clock, which rotates the bidirectional internal bezel bearing the names of cities in 24 time zones. Since Kingsman focuses on a jetsetting world of English spies, Bremont’s British pedigree and travelers’ watches make a perfect complement. The Kingsman Special Edition has a BE-54AE movement. Got to try on a 15400
I finally got to try on a 15400 and some other ROOs. The bracelet catches light at every angle, much much flashier than I expected. What do you think? Does it look big on my wrist?
2254.50 or 2230.50 Date Wheel Code
Hi, Can anyone help me with the OME code for the date wheel for either the 2252.50 or 2233.50 SMP? I am contemplating modifying my 2531.80; I prefer the style of the 2254.50 but not the dial and intend to use the dial of the 2230.50 Non AC SMP, for the applied hour markers, Omega symbol and Omega. I have the OME codes for the following items: 2254.50 black bezel2230.50 dial2230.50 hands and dialHowever, try as I may using O Frei etc, I cannot discover the code for the black date wheel with white numbers. Any help much appreciated. Brian PS I found this photo on the web
Love the sport/professional models, BUT.......
I'm an absolute Rolex fan, and love the brand for many reasons. I've tried others, but other than a G-shock, it's all I have. Having said that, I'm aggravated with the current situation. So I've decided to sort of .....circumvent the current issues. I feel fortunate that I can go about it this way, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar thoughts? I love the sport/professional models, but with the shortages, wait lists, case changes, recent rumors, etc.... I've changed my way of thinking/buying (for now)So I'm staying modern while avoiding all the things mentioned above...Meaning....a collection of.. PM DD 40, PM Daytona, SS Date-just. 2 oyster bracelet, 2 pres bracelet, 2 smooth bezel, 1 fluted, 1 sport bezel. Very happy not thinking about what case, lug size, bezel, etc...change is coming. So for now....loving the classic shapes, dials, colors, and ease of finding inventory! Love looking forward to the new releases, but simple modern/classic case & lug sizes are my go to
