Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Contemporaine Calibre 1731 Minute Repeater Watch Breaks New Records
It would not be inappropriate for you to engage in a slow, polite clap to congratulate Vacheron Constantin on the release of their new record setting watch that now holds the title as the world's thinnest minute repeater. Slim and actually quite sexy, the Patrimony Contemporaine Calibre 1731 Minute Repeater was unveiled at the new Watches & Wonders watch show in Hong Kong. Asia has had a range of watch events in the past, but the Watches & Wonders show is a new, experimental event that brands are testing in terms of releasing new mid to late-year product releases before SIHH. Hong Kong is in many ways the gateway to China, and to honor the massive hungry watch market it makes sense for brands to offer something a bit new.Anytime a brand claims to set a new record it is important to put it within context. Should I sell my 5960/1A?
I need some of your expertise. I bought a 5960/1A when it first came out. I love it as much today as the day I bought it. However, I've only worn it a handful of times. It's just not getting the wrist time and I don't see that changing. And while I enjoy seeing it in it's home, it's there all of the time. So, I'm thinking I may sell it. With that, do any of you connoisseurs think that this watch will greatly appreciate over time (i.e. once they stop making it) -- or should I just sell it and I'll have no financial regrets in your opinion?Yes, I know I could wear it more, but let's assume that's not an option. Thanks for the input as always!
Sub 116610 bezel problems??
Hi I’ve heard of some alignment issue with regards to the bezel on the sub, that it gives slightly and moves back clockwise slightly once rotated. Also that some bezels arnt perfectly aligned with the Rolex sign at the 12 o’clock position? Has anyone had this issue? Thanks
