Bathys is, without a doubt, one of the more unique American watch brands currently in operation. We know this because out of nowhere they developed the world's first atomic clock wrist watch. just pull the trigger on yet another AP! Well, this is a special one in many people's hearts whether they are fortunate enough to own it or not... Can you guess? I'll give you a few hints:1) came out awhile back2) sickest AP ROO with an elegant yet stylish design and I think no ROO has been able to top it YET... (My own humble opinion of course)3) they are somewhat of a rare commodity these days!pictures to follow once I receive it... What a month it has been for me in terms of AP love! Lots going on internally these days at Panerai and other brands making it an unpredictable time. What do you think we'll see at SIHH ��18? Whatever you're thinking, get it out. It could be a safe prediction or a seemingly outlandish one. That said, if you have nothing nice to say...you know the rest. I'll hold back for now. Last year I somehow managed two predictions that came true, though one is yet to be released.

14060 just back from Rolex NY
A few years ago I posted a story about a 14060 Submariner that I had bought for my father for his 60th birthday in 2002. My father passed away tragically in 2015 and I received the watch back. My father had not done a thing to the watch in 13 years. I have had it ever since and only wore it sparingly. I knew it needed a service and the hands had luminous material flaking off.I sent the watch to Rolex via Registered mail (took a week from MA to NY) right before the holidays, and it sat for a week while Rolex was closed for the holidays. I had called Rolex to check on the status and to ask for another link etc. I was told that they were behind and plan on about 4 weeks.Tuesday I received a call from Rolex that the watch was ready and would ship overnight on Wednesday for Thursday delivery. I was thrilled. The watch arrived a few minutes ago from Fedex....and today happens to be my father's birthday, so it was exactly 16 years ago to the day that I presented the Submariner to him.Th
