Patek Boutique / AD survival skills
ok, as we all know the so called entry of Patek are 5167 and 5711but as we all know again, it seems like you can't find / buy a 5167 and especially 5711 blue dial at any Patek Boutique or ADneed to put our name and wait for like 3 yearsis just like cars, BMW need to sell more 3 and 5 series to sustain their business, is not like everybody buying a 7 seriesSo how do they survive? I don't feel like people just walk in and buy Grand Complications and Repeater on a monthly basis.just curious
Third Watch to Fill Out the Collection
After a decade of buying and selling my collection stands at two pieces of which I am very happy. A 38mm Omega Planet Ocean 2500, and a Grand Seiko 9F High Accuracy Quartz. I'm looking for suggestions on a Rolex that would be the perfect complementary addition to this group.Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
Updated Rolex Heavy Collection(s) & Signing Off
Going south and turning over a new leaf. I took advantage of the rare occurrence that I had them all in one place. There is a method to the collection. I normally bring one from each of the following 4 groups home a week. Photo One: Rolex PMPhoto Two: PP Dress PiecesPhoto Three: Weekend CasualPhoto Four: Vintage Rolex & One OffsThat way usage gets rotated, I have all occasions covered and limited security concerns. With that I will cease participating for a prolonged period. The recent banning of a number of high profile members who contributed great content, has in my opinion diminished controversial or thought provoking subject matter and lessened discourse. As a result my general interest has diminished. I assume this was the moderators intent and completely respect their decisions to cultivate a certain decorum. I guess I am not a true watch or Rolex enthusiast Cheers and thanks everyone!
