Unauthorized Rolex Phone From China Does Actual Rolex Watches Shame
Guess what, China could care less about intellectual property rights. So copyright, trademark, and patent in infringement is just a whim away most of the time. The watch industry has had to deal with this for many years when it comes to replica or fake watches, but there are also other types of trademark infringement situations such as this. Certain Chinese mobile phone makers like to attach high-end names to phone such as this "Rolex" mobile phone. Taking out the legal issues, this is a cute if not slightly pathetic looking homage to what Rolex might be as a phone maker. Who knows, after companies such as Tag Heuer and Ulysse Nardin have made luxury mobile phones, maybe Rolex will someday? How knows.Pictured are two "unauthorized" Rolex labeled mobile phones. The one with more pictures is known as the "Rolex A699." Each is complete with watch images on the screens. Prices for the phone are about $100 is US dollars - though they would quickly be seized if sold outside of China. Rolex c
Ap ROO 42mm ceramic bezel (44mm style) - will never come?

5711 vs 5167. Anyone prefer the 5167?
Evening guys.Onto the hunt and I usually like to take my time, see my options, try on the watches a couple of times etc.Now I know I could never justify both the 5711 and 5167 together even if I could afford it.The same shape on the face, same movement, and same complications (time/date).I do love the rubber strap on the 5167 and the sun burst dial that looks like a globe. Also love the smooth bracelet on the 5711 with the beautiful blue dial(which I have yet to try - only tried the 5711 so far and she's a stunner too. I would rather the blue though.). The only advantage IMO on the 5711 is that it works very well dressed down and up. The 5167 imo is better casual and dressed down. The rubber wouldn't look special in a suit.Does anyone prefer the 5167 over the 5711?Which would you pick in this case?
Unload 425 or 557 for 233 Please advise
I currently own two base Panerai 425 and 557. I want to add a 233 for its complications and date. I need to unload either the 425 or 557 to fund for the 233. The problem is I like them equally and I can't make up my mind. I am set for the 233 so I'll end up with 1 base and 1 complication to my PAM collection. If you guys have time please give me your 2 cents and help me justify what piece to let go and keep. Thanks again TRF.
Which WG Daytona do you like better?
Seriously contemplating throwing down for a wg Daytona. Red/black or panda dial? Which do you prefer?
