Sponsored PostThe Nomos Timeless Club WatchTimeless Luxury Watches, an authorized Nomos Glashtte watches dealer in Texas, is releasing a new exclusive model which is the product of a collaboration between Timeless and Nomos watches in Germany. The aptly named Nomos "Timeless Club" watch is the result of that collaboration, a highly modified incarnation of the existing Nomos Club line that not only introduces new styling and colors, but will also co-introduce a new movement with Nomos' own Metro Datum. The DesignThe Nomos Timeless Club is a new collaboration from Timeless Luxury Watches and Nomos Glashtte that combines elements from existing models into something very different than anything that came before it.?The Nomos Timeless Club uses an identical 38.5mm steel case from the original Nomos Club Dunkel Datum. Nomos Orion 38 Datum Review
Here at w&w, we do a poor job of hiding our enthusiasm for Nomos Glashuette. They are one of those brands that the mere mention of always gets our hearts pounding. Their watches are perfect little expressions of what accessible luxury ought to be. Unique, finely finished and restrained timepieces with in-house movements at obtainable prices. What more could you ask for?At Basel World 2013, Nomos unveiled a handful of things, one of which was a new, larger sized Orion. The Orion watches are a staple of the Nomos line up; a classic, modest design with a vintage air that they have offered for many years. Unlike their more often spoken about Tangentes or Tangomats, the Orions have smooth flowing curves that emphasize their incredibly thin profiles, making effortlessly elegant and easy to wear watches. Up until this year, they were available in 35 and 33mm cases, which are quite small by today's standards. The new Orion 38 added a needed larger size for a more contemporary presence, esp

Submariner PM Service Costs?
Hello All - First post... Looking to purchase my first Rolex (Submariner Date) and I have a few questions about PM service...This watch will be my one-and-only and I will wear it 7-days/week, 16 hrs/day - I'm not a collector. I swim, boat, camp, snowmobile, atv, etc. So it will definitely be exposed to the elements. It will also be my first mechanical watch. (Current watch is an Omega Seamaster 300m Quartz)First of all, I understand (based on wear/use, etc) that you should have the watch serviced every 4-years or so.... Is this correct? Secondly, if I took the watch to a Rolex AD, how much could I expect to pay for factory preventative maintenance-type service?I ask because every sub I have looked at has zero service history.... So, I'd like to compare the costs of a used sub ($6k to $7k range) plus a PM, to a brand-new one. And, if location matters for costs, I live in Chicago...Thank you - all info you can share is appreciated....Bob
