Artya Watches For KISS: With Gene Simmons & More
First I want to say that these watches were sort of commissioned by the members of KISS. Yvan Arpa of Artya was contacted by Gene Simmons who said that he liked his work and wanted to have Artya make special watches for KISS. So Arpa flew out to LA to spend time with the band members, talk watches, and voila! Artya watches uniquely made for KISS (and available as piece unique models for you).I would really like to know more about what Yvan Arpa did with Gene Simmons for a week. I tried to ask him but didn't get much information. Apparently they liked the result. Right now there are three watches. Each are in 47mm wide Artya "deconstructed" cases. The first one features Gene Simmons, then another with Paul Stanley, and the last one has a KISS guitar pick and guitar string in the dial - that were actually used by Paul Stanley. Any photos of Ceramic Diver on white rubber strap?
Has anyone done this, for a summer watch?How do you all think it would look?I'm leaning towards I don't think it would look good, but I want it to look good as I'd like a white strap in the collection.Thank you

2 Weeks with an AP Diver... a new owner review.
I am new to AP. But to to high-end watches, owning or having owned VC, PP, Piaget, Rolex, JLC, Glashutte, Omega and others, I had been close to buying AP in the past, but for one reason or another, the stars did not align. Admittedly, one of the main reasons behind having second thoughts at the moment of truth were based on negative comments on this very same forum, regarding lack of reliability on the movements, lack of accuracy, and in general, a feeling like you would have to be madly in love with the watch to put up with so many deficiencies. Never having sent a Rolex in for service, preventive or otherwise, I had come to expect high-end watches to be at least, highly reliable. But some of the stories I read would not depict AP in a good light.So after reading almost every review I could find on the Diver, I decided to give it a try. In light of the fact that the current 5130 versions will be run out models this year what can we expect as replacements? I for one can't wait to see what will appear on the new faces maybe sun maybe moon maybe combination or how about an ss version to really stir things up - can't wait to see them.

Pam507. How to age bronze quickly?
Hey Guys, I recently just polished my Pam507 Bronzo as it aged to the point where there were too much stains for my liking and green patina all over. I did the polishing myself by hand. It is literally shining right now. Was wondering if anyone has any quick fix for it to age a little faster. It looks pretty much like a rose gold Pam507 which doesn't look too good.
