Omega Seamaster help!!!!
Hi everyone... got some questions about a Seamaster.I have included the picture below... sorry, I don't have an individual pic of the omega right now. Its the one all the way to the right.Q1: Does anyone know if the manual winding have any restrictions? Like how many times can I wind it with out breaking it? I have checked the inside, and everything is very clean and fine. Q2: Does anyone know where I can get a new band? its a very unique bracelete IMO. I haven't really seen any aftermarket bracelete for this watch. Any pictures are welcome!!!Q3: Does anyone know what the best way to clean the case would be? I tried to wash it with detergent, but it still has a lot of dark spots. Thanks for any input!!
Platona with Arabic numerals
Is it possible that rolex could be holding back on news of new dials? Thought I heard about a new glacier blue Arabic dial for Platona?
used submariner 16610 vs new explorer (HELP!)
Okay guys, I have a big debate going on. I have a $6500 Budget for a new watch. Do I buy a used 10 year old Submariner date or buy a new Explorer. It seems most Submariners date 16610 in my price range will be around 10 years old. Most have either no box and no papers or have no service history. I have found one from Jewelers on time for $6500 no box and no papers but has recently been serviced by them ($500). It comes with 2 year warranty. It is a 2005 model. They seem very trust worthy. I can pick up a brand new explorer from a trusted seller for slightly under the $6500.
What's this? (16622)
Recently becomming a happy owner of my first Rolex, I find myself spending way too much time looking at it, as well as others like it online.I have noticed a quite obvious difference, I haven't been able to read anything about. The 'swiss made' at six o'clock is written differently on some watches. I am not able to pin it to certain years nor have I been able to see a pattern with i.e. ingravings in the rehaut. My watch a '08 M-series has a noticable bigger distance between 'swiss' and 'made' compared to several other YM's I've come across, both older and younger models...What's up with that? SincerelySam
