Patek Philippe's showing at Baselworld 2015 was, in my belief, its strongest in years. We saw them show absolutely stunning updates to the 5170G (black dial, oversized breguet, leaf hands make a world of difference) and 5270 (now available in rose, and no more chin on existing g models). We also saw perhaps the best watch Patek has made since the 5970P in the 5370P – a platinum split seconds chronograph with a black enamel dial. OK, they also brought out the least Patek watch they've ever made in the 5524G but we've already covered that craziness here. Omega Speedmaster Water resistance and test??
Looking at an Omega Speedmaster. Manual wind with see through back. 50 meter water resistance. How wil it hold up for surface swimming, doing laps in a pool. Also, OMega Brochure states when originally designed it passed 11 sringent test from NASA. Does anyone know what these test where?

New member needs advise - Daytona
Hi all, I am new to the forum and i have been reading a lot of your great advises. That helped a lot on my journey deciding for my first rolex model: Daytona. I adore the Daytona, i feel in love with it after seeing the TT black MOP with diamonds, but now i have also seen the rose gold and find it very hard to decide. Which one do you like? which of the 2 do you think will hold the value best? I will hopefully never want to sell it, but who knows. My first Rolex will be bought in a Rolex store. hope you can help :)
