Bell & Ross Launches BR01 Airborne in Paris
On Tuesday June 9, Bell & Ross launches its new limited edition BR01 Airborne at Colette, the Parisian fashion and style boutique. BR01 Airborne watches will be exclusively available at Colette for one week beginning June 8th. Bell & Ross is introducing the Airborne to coincide with the commemoration of the 65th anniversary of D-Day by President Barack Obama and French President Nicolas Sarkozy. The BR 01 Airborne was developed in honor of the courageous soldiers who fought during World War II, particularly the paratroopers of the U.S. Airborne divisions. The skull was one of the emblems they wore on their uniforms as a symbol of courage in the face of death. I have been owner of my grail RO 15300 now for just over 3 months. A few days after pick up i noticed a problem with date change and wanting everything perfect i decided to get it sent back to AP service to get sorted under warranty. Now before watch was sent off to service centre AD did the usual watch condition report which read AS NEW CONDITION no marks or dings anywhere which is no suprise as i prob had only worn watch on 5/6 occasions. A few days ago i received call from AD to say my watch was ready for me to collect. Report from AP says they had replaced a few parts and was now changing within tolerance . Well all seemed good until i put on my spectacles to inspect. Well what a disappointment firstly i noticed a mark on brushed part of bezel right next to one of the screw heads and also light marking around part of the polished edge of bezel and also on a couple of the screw heads i never took any pics of marks to bezel think i was in shock. Guys,I have new VC overseas chrono, and just having second thought about it... I'm patek lover and I just purchase this VC a few weeks to complete the holy trinity. Its somehow very similar to my Rolex Daytona. So should I keep or let go and just purchase to PP complications?What are your thoughts?Thanks!
