Maurice Lacroix Pontos S Dive Watches
A few months ago while with Maurice Lacroix at their manufacture I spent time with them going over small details on the prototype versions of these new Pontos S dive watches. We looked at little things like the polishes on the rings around subsidiary chronograph dials, colors, strap choices and other details on the dials. Going from idea, to computer design, to final product is challenging and requires a very close attention to even the little things. What I can say is that the best watch brands have product leads people who are both smart and highly independent when it comes to asserting changes to even small visual elements.While I have yet to see the final versions, I like how the Pontos S fits in the Maurice Lacroix product line-up. It is a solid design that actually mixes retro and modern looks smoothly. It is like a futuristic version of a retro sport watch. My third AP is an Annual Calendar
After a very good season, I awarded myself with a new AP! It's not new, but very nicely used, and I love it! It's an Royal Oak Annual Calendar. 25920ST. Perfect size too! I like the new beefier AP's, but these oldies but goodies aren't bad either!

1 month in to ownership
So thought id write about my first APFirstly I love the fit of the 42mm Offshores, i have just over a 7 inch wrist and the watch sits perfect.The clasp takes some getting use to, and to require a snug fit sometimes marks your skin, but small price to pay as I prefer over a buckle.The alligator strap has surprised me, I had in my mind from the beginning to change to a rubber strap. But the Alligator strap has grown on me so much and contrasts so well with the FC case and ceramic bezel.The FC case is excellent, and along with the only choice of bezel for me ceramic make a great combination and they seem to change in different light conditions giving you a different look every time.Craftsmenship is amazing, design and materials used have me staring at for what seems hours, Im hooked on the brand Ap ruleI would recommend anyone considering a Offshore to Consider a Ginza I think a few are in circulation from AD. A 5712 Question
I see 5712's selling in the low 30s with the Tiffany's going in the high 40s. Which do the experts here see as being the better long-term investment? TIA
