Hublot Limited Edition Supports Medical Research
Hublot has teamed with the oldest automobile club in the world – the Automobile Club de France (ACF) – to create a limited edition timepiece to benefit the Fondation ICM (Institute for Cerebral and Medullary Disorders). This is the first partnership with a major brand for the ACF, which was founded in 1895. One of the founding members of the Fondation ICM is Jean Todt – a name well known to auto racing enthusiasts. Mr. Todt is the president of the FIA (F��d��ration Internationale de l'Automobile) – the governing body for Formula 1. The FIA is headquartered at the Automobile Club de France. Together, Hublot and the ACF developed the Aero Bang Drive ACF, a black chronograph with the ACF’s colors. A black ceramic case and bezel surround a skeleton dial, through which one can glimpse the movement beneath. Luminox Tony Kanaan Limited Edition Watch Version 2
The first limited edition watch created as a partnership between Indy Car driver Tony Kanaan and Luminox was such a success that less than a year later another is already out. Instead of just being a watch with a famous racer's name on it, Kanaan (being a major watch lover), and Luminox worked really closely together on the design. While Tony could have easily worked with a number of higher-end brands, he really wanted to make sure that his friends could afford the watch with his name on it. His friends were working with brands like Audemars Piguet - and while they created some beautiful timepieces, they didn't make a lot of sense for? the fans with prices around $70,000.Luminox was a great partner for Tony to create a watch, and Tony was a good fit for Luminox because he is just a very personable, and friendly guy. Speedmaster - how common?
I was at a major AD yesterday. The sales guy said that the Speedmaster was selling like crazy and more than SMP, PO and AT. Though nice that people have good taste, I see very few of them in the wild. AT would be the one i see most I think. What is your experience?

What's on your 2018 PAM wishlist now that the SIHH models have been introduced?
For me, I can fortunately say that I have no interest in any of the new releases from SIHH 2018. However, now that the 720 has blue hands, that has replaced the 721 on my 2018 wish list.So my wish list for 2018 is a 217 and a 720. Not sure I will be able to swing either of them in 2018, unless I can convince my wife that we should follow Richemont's YE and the 2019 year starts on April 1!!After (and only after) the 217 and 720, I would probably want to round out my collection with a 617/375. But that's most defintely a 2019 thing!!What's on your PAM wish list for this year?
