Hey all,Was killing time this afternoon, and stuck my head round the door of an AD close to where I study - when boredom strikes, what better excuse to take a nose at some watches Taking pride of place in an otherwise slightly underwhelming Omega display (mainly Seamaster 300s and Constellations) was the latest Speedmaster L.E., featuring the meteorite dial. (Read more here) At a whopping ��5000 (over double the list price of the standard Speedmaster Pro) it's certainly a serious price. My thoughts? There's just not enough wow factor, not enough to differentiate it from the standard Speedmaster Pro. The dial (especially on the black meteorite sections) is underwhelming, and it certainly lacks the beauty of the Rolex meteorite dials. Yes, it might be limited to 1975 pieces worldwide, but I think you'd have to either be:a) A serious space enthusiastb) A serious Speedmaster enthusiastc) Slightly loonyto take one of the L.E. models over the standard. Anyone wear Nautilus every day?
Question for you one-watch Nautilus wearers, if there's any out there:Are there times you don't wear the Nautilus? Do you wear something else, or go wrist-commando?I've been debating getting a tool watch. Thoughts run from $400 Hamilton to $4,000 Sub. I just bought an AP Royal Oak moon phase, but that's hardly the tool watch I had in mind. And now that I'm wearing my Nautilus for the first time in the three days since I got the AP, I'm beginning to think I want Patek and nothing else. And believe me, that Royal Oak is a fabulous watch from every point of view. I'm not looking for advice here on which tool watch to get. Rather, I'm looking for thoughts on being a one watch (or one brand) guy if anyone out there can identify with that! As always, thanks in advance for responding to my inquiries (none of which have any bearing on the truly important things in life!) Just a hobby to enjoy when we can, right? Cheers!

Seeking Advice Regarding a Patek
I'm an old retired guy who developed an irrational interest in watches only a few years ago. I'm not wealthy but I've managed to acquire two nice watches in the past two years, a stainless steel Breguet Marine and a rose gold JLC MUT Moon. Recently I've been strongly tempted by a yellow gold Rolex Day-Date but I've found it difficult to open my wallet that wide for a Rolex. I'm beginning to agree with my wife, who thinks that a YG Day-Date is too blingy for me. I think I might prefer to sell my JLC and replace it with a modest manual wind Patek Philippe. The PP models that appeal to me are the Calatrava 5119 (J or R) and 5196 (J or R) and the Gondolo 5124J. I love the art deco styling of the 5124J but would also be happy with either of the more traditional 5119 or 5196. Can you give me any advice regarding the relative merits of the three PP models I've mentioned?

First Tudor, First Bronze, First Black Bay (BBB)
Lots of firsts with this new one added to my collection. There are so many different variations in the shade of the bronze I am very excited to have this piece and can't wait to see how the patina starts to develop.
