Pre own AP Black Theme buy decision
Just want forumners opinion if this pre own AP is good buy? I have attached some pics. The asking price is usd15000. When I saw watch it was on a leather strap. But dealer selling with bracelet. Before I buy I would like to know model code number, what series, is it worth the asking price, is it the latest model 26470ST any new info, what about see thru back?I am new to AP so my knowledge is poor. Not that long ago, I decided that I was through with buying any more watches for the time being. It turned out that I was wrong, but if you'll bear with me I'll do my best to explain why...Firstly, I had no less than 4 absolutely gorgeous Rolex sports watches in the collection - a 1665, a 1675, a 5513 and a 1680. In fact, the 1680 was without doubt one the best I've ever seen, but to own two Subs from the same year was just a little too self-indulgent for comfort . Bearing in mind that the 5513 is equally nice, I had some thinking to do when I received a recent request from the former owner to buy it back.Secondly, whilst my Mk II Speedy was a fantastic-looking watch, I learnt a lesson through owning it. It's obvious that I love a bit of vintage, but I found that the replacement dial and hands on the Mk II meant that I was regarding it in a slightly different light to my others; and this was exacerbated when I found myself feeling the love for some of the slightly more original example

Are your Pam's accurate? mine aren't...
Been noticing some problems on my Pams, haven't yet been keeping exact track, started tonight though, but they clearly don't keep very good time, from what it seems to me, again I haven't yet kept a clear record yet, in 1 week they have more or less 1-2 minutes difference with the exact time, as for power reserve they are fine except for my 233, sometimes it's ok, sometimes in 3 hours 20-25% of the power reserve is gone after rewinding, then it seems to go away slower, and sometimes it works normally. I will keep a close watch on both power reserve and accuracy, and see how it goes, but for 3 new unworn watches from years 2000 and 2009 it's not very encouraging, especially knowing that I am very careful with them, never drop them or hit something…I found a graphic here which shows parameters for chronometer watches, clearly I am way out of of the acceptance… It seems to me that I am in typical for vintage mechanical watch, which for me my Pam's are clearly not vintage, but

Hi guys,Just want to get everyone's opinion on my possible next watch. The three options are explorer 2 white dial, subc no date, or datejust 41 rhodium dial jubilee but no flute. I do have a subc date already, but it's a good contender as I've always been interested with the no date option. Thanks in advance!Feel free to post pics btw

Daytona cool blue dial / strap summer combo !
Inspired by another topic I brought a visit to my very flexible Rolex watchmaker and together we created this pretty cool summer Daytona, perhaps we should call it Daytona Beach MKII All OEM parts obviously, never knew Rolex offered a sharp white croco for it's whitegold Daytona's !
