Too expensive, he reckons
Apparently, there is an Omega Constellation in 18k solid white gold on the market, now. However, it does not come with a bracelet.A friend who is interested in it, would like to know, will it be easy to hunt around for its bracelet, subsequently.
New to me 3992J
HelloI received my first Patek today from an estate Through a reputable watch dealer Brick & Mortar store...it's a 3992J with the 240 movement. The watch is beautiful and in mint condition my concern is that i can hear that rotor turning its kind of loud. My first Patek and by no means not my first Automatic... is this normal?Best: Marko
First Patek.Tough Decision
I went down to the local AD in Denver this afternoon to try on some watches. I had never had a Patek on my wrist, but I have decided that I want to add one to my collection. The AD didn't have a huge selection, but I was happy to try on the 5167R-001 as well as a 5712R-001. After spending some time with both of the watches, I truly love them both. They are obviously very different, and also somewhat smaller than what I am used to. Currently I wear the larger Rolex models, and Panerai. Ultimately, I think both pieces end up in my collection at some point, but I am wondering if you guys have some insight or a suggestion as to where I should start. My budget at this time will not permit me buying two pieces, as I already have a second Rolex piece I want to add in the short term. I look forward to some feedback. Thanks, JPS
Is this a sub on Redford?
I just stumbled upon this photo online. Obviously, the 1973 fashion is simply awesome. I believe he is in London for the photo. I notice his wrist and think its a sub date. Can anyone with a better eye confirm this?
