Corum Golden Bridge for Only Watch 2011
Corum is pursuing its commitment on behalf of research on Duchenne muscular dystrophy and creating a new unique piece to be included in the Only Watch 2011 auction: a Golden Bridge Automatic presented with a Titalyt-treated titanium case housing a white gold baguette movement with automatic linear winding. This one-of-a-kind watch is inspired by a new model presented at Baselworld this year, the Golden Bridge Automatic. Corum presents its new baguette movement with automatic winding in a unique titanium case, coated with an anthracite colored Titalyt treatment. The new Corum Caliber C0313, an automatic linear-winding baguette movement, required over four years of development and testing to perfect. Equipped with a linear oscillating weight made in platinum and visible from all four sides of the case, along with a slipping spring mechanism, this Golden Bridge movement beats at a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) with a 40-hour power reserve. This 194-part caliber is also fit
First Omega in Space - finally
Back in 2006, I was able to obtain a set of original NOS CK 2998 hands and a friend gave me a cal 861 movement. The plan was to assemble my second project watch which was to be a commemorative of Wally Schirra's Mercury-Atlas 8 flight.I even designed a special case back but unlike the Omega design (which isn't that bad), I used the flight patch logo of Sigma 7 in the center with this wording around the edge: THE FIRST - SPEEDMASTER - IN SPACE - SCHIRRA - MERCURY-ATLAS 8 - OCT. 3, 1962.Here is a photo of the first attempt to fabricate the back:Circumstances precluded completion of my project but I am more than pleased with Omega's upcoming release. I have already placed my order.Fr. John?
When the new Aqua Terra will be available ?

Allocated/Application
Excuse my ignorance. I've been reading about application and allocation and I believe that application comes direct from PP and allocation from AD. So if an allocated watch comes from PP to an AD the AD can give the piece to anyone they want but a applicated watch comes from PP with the recipients name written on the certificate of ownership. Is this about correct? Now my other question is that I've been on a list for a 5712 and the AD says I'm 2nd so when they get allocation do they come in at the same time? I mean if they are allocated 4 a year would they get 2 at a time? I'm sorry I am just going nuts waiting and it's only been 2 weeks! But I was told that once the 1st watch comes in I could come in and take a look at it. So I was thinking if the 1st one comes in maybe the 2nd comes in at the same time? Maybe?
