Carl F. Bucherer’s triple-time-zone chronograph watch, the TravelTec, gets a matte-black makeover at Baselworld 2016. Previously available in steel and rose-gold variations, the newest version of the Carl F. Bucherer Patrvai TravelTec features a scratch-resistant black DLC coating.The wafer-thin but exceptionally durable DLC (diamond-like carbon) finish on the TravelTec is applied in a multi-stage process, enhancing both the scratch-resistance and shock absorption of the 46.6-mm stainless steel case as well as the stainless steel bracelet (which is outfitted with a black DLC-coated folding clasp). The dark, monotone look echoes that of the black dial, which displays three time zones simultaneously, the third by means of a central red hand pointing to a rotating 24-hour scale on the dial’s flange. Speedmaster Moonwatch Pro vs. 1st Omega in Space
Hi guys - I'm looking to add a Speedmaster to my collection and my favourite was the Speedmaster Moonwatch Pro with the hesalite glass. I love the history behind the watch and would want one as true to the original as possible.However I have recently come across the Speedmaster 1st Omega in Space edition (can't keep up with number of special/numbered editions of speedmaster). I like the look of the smaller face (39mm vs 42mm), the exposed lugs and the Alpha hands. This watch also has a great history and a tribute to the original, just as the Moonwatch is. They are a nearly the same RRP price, but you get more for your money with the Moonwatch - steel bracelet, spare NATO straps and other goodies in the box. Also has a nicer box but the 1st Omega in Space is a numbered edition. Any opinions out there as to which one is more preferred? Thanks. Thanks!

HiAs a reponse to my other post someone mentioned Speedmaster , so I went to look.Firstly , in Prague , where I am currently living , the biggest AD has very limited selection on display but can order everything from catalogueThey had the Speedmaster and the limited edition version ( identical except for the red second hand and silver insert at 9 position)I just read all the reviews here and the only issue seems to be the price. They are asking for a 12% premium for the LE , offering 5% discount , and I have the chance to get VAT back of 20% ( flying to Switzerland in a few weeks so I can get the stamp at customs and the AD will refund me upon presentation of stamped docs). Net price is GBP 2650 /USD 4000.For the 12% I think its worth.... personally I like the watch with that silver insert ,so its not just about the LE issue.Is there anything I should be concerned about , or anything I should look out for when laying out the cash ? Its my first proper watch so I thought I will ask just
