Introducing the BR 126 Sport Heritage GMT & Flyback, A Modern Favorite With A Twist
To all those with frequent flyer miles, here is an interesting update: The Bell & Ross BR 126 Heritage Sport GMT & Flyback. Before we get into analysis, let’s take a short, philosophical flight into Bell & Ross’s venture – one that is often the subject of scrutiny by watch…purists. There’s no denying the widespread vintage appeal that has recently consumed the watch-market. Throwbacks are on the rise as watch lovers dig deeper into history and appreciate the genesis of timekeeping. Many brands bring us re-issues of their most memorable models from the last century. But, what about watches that weren’t alive in the 50s and 60s? What about watches that never struggled through the quartz revolution? We like pedigree as much as the next guys, but the reality is that these youngster-brands were raised in a world of abundant water resistance and astronavigation.Bell & Ross is one of these 90s kids. It can’t bring you re-issues, becau
Jumbo too big for my wrist?
Hi everyone,I know there has been a glut of jumbo related threads of late, and I apologize for adding to it.. Thing is I have always wanted to acquire an RO Jumbo to replace my ROO Panda, but have always hesitated as the bracelet seems too stiff at the lugs, leaving big gaps between the wrist when I tried it on at the boutique.Today I managed to try on a pre owned older version 15202, and the dealer was kind enough to size the bracelet for me. See picsAnd a Panda pic for comparisonMy question is this.. Do you think the Jumbo is too big for my 6 inch wrist? Weirdly the Panda wears better due to the pliable leather strap. Also would the newer Jumbo be less or more wearable for me? Am more keen on that as I like the blue dial and the position of the AP logo. All thoughts appreciated, really want and hope to join the club!

Breitling Kawasaki Cafe Racer
Hi Guys, thought you may find this interesting. BTW, Bike EXIF is great (no affiliation) Kawasaki Z1000 cafe racerPosted: 22 Jun 2010 10:30 AM PDTIn the 70s and 80s, Georges Martin was one of Europe's most prolific frame and component manufacturers. Based in Les Sables-d'Olonne, a picturesque seaside town in western France, he built almost 6,000 frames for custom and racing motorcycles. He's still an iconic figure on the continental scene, and this new caf racer is a tribute to his skills. It was built by Alan Bernard of Santiago Chopper in Tampa, Florida, using an original 70s Martin frame. Back in the day, Martin-framed bikes were usually powered by uprated Kawasaki, Honda or Suzuki engines, and Bernard has stayed true to from by choosing a Kawasaki Z1000 motor. The front end, swingarm and 17 wheels are from a 2007 Suzuki GSX-R, while the seat is a Benelli item. Bernard has replicated the squared-off, chunky look of an original Martin tank, but the Breitling-themed paint is a dis
I tried out the alaska project....
I was in an AD the other day and he offered me a 3570.50 for $3050USD and the list was $4000USD. It also had the trasparent back on the watch. He also had the Alaska Project limited edition and said he'd let it go for $5300USD. It looks sssssso nice. My interest in either is lukewarm since I would have liked to get an LV soon. Thing is I think the Speedy Alaska may be a nice choice since getting it at a later time is probably not going to be easy to find etc. Also having one of 1970 pieces worldwide does have some allure. What do you guys think of the prices? I can probably even save the tax by paying cash...
