Christopher Ward C8 Regulator Review
After recent news, Christopher Ward is more likely to be known for their affordable in-house SH21 movement than anything else, but if you look our archives, you'll find most of our reviews are of their pilot's watches. We've looked at the C8 MKII, the C10, the C11 and the C1000 Typhoon, all of which offer something different. The C8 MKII is fairly classic pilot, reminiscent of IWC MK series, the C10 is a more formal, with a touch of navigator DNA, the C11 is a modern instrument panel-style aviator and the C1000 Typhoon is a dark and stealthy modern pilot realized in ceramic. Incoming (actually already here)--thanks MB23!
Picked this up Sunday (thanks Mike). Traded in Schumi (which I still love), but can't keep them all. I wish AP would make the rubber strap for this one (it appears the blue strap on the new 42mm Navy would work perfectly due to the darker color blue, but need AP to make it for the 44mms).PS--thanks to Martin and Hamish for the input on this piece!
A Bit of Fun
Hi. As I am useless as a photographer but want to record my watch collection I have started (work in progress) to add them to a background photo to add some impact to them. A couple from my collection still need to be tranformed see attached photos to see which need to be done. its only a bit of fun but I enjoy doing it. Hope you enjoy looking. I still have not picked up the 2011 speedmaster Co-axial Chrono yet...... seems ages for this to appear in the shops.
a superb 2 days ..
Just had a magnificent 2 days !!Our dealer Degreef ( Belgium - Brussels) invited us for an extraordinary 2 days in Geneva.Day 1, a visit in the Patek museum, I guess it's my 4th or 5th time but every time you are in the museum you discover new art or new important watches. Most of you know that it is forbidden to take pictures so unfortunately I can't post pictures. After the museum we had some spare time so a few of us went the the Patek salon, ofcourse I was one of them LOLAs usual the staff is very helpful and VERY friendly. I can't remember her name but a women from Belarus showed us everything we wanted to see and afterwards she took 3 of us upstairs to the 5th floorWhat a view !!!the furniture just screams classThank you 'lady from Belarus :-) ' !!!Afterwards, back to the hotel and getting ready for a nice diner.I did several manufacture visits in the past and you never know who the other invitees are, this time it was a PERFECT group. Really met some very friendly man and wom
