Hands-On: With The Blancpain Villeret Tourbillon Squelette 8-Day In Platinum (PLUS: You're Invit
While perusing the wares of the brand new Blancpain boutique on Fifth Avenue a few weeks back, I stumbled across this guy here. It's called the VIlleret Tourbillon Squelette 8-Day, and while it was announced at BaselWorld 2014, there wasn't a lot of attention given to it C most was offered to the awesome new in-house chronograph movement seen in the Bathyscaphe Chronograph. But this new tourbillon has a lot going for it. 2 OF 3 First, it employs Blancpain's excellent in-house 8-day self-winding tourbillon caliber 25, which is quite thin at 4.85mm in thickness. That's not only thin for a tourbillon, it's also very thin for a tourbillon with an 8-day power reserve. Second, the case is an absolutely perfect 37.5mm in diameter. Yes, that's 37.5mm and nobody is calling it a lady's watch. This is the size a watch like this should be. Second, this tourbillon offers a date function, and power reserve on the semi-skeletonized dial. 3 OF 3 It is indeed the dial here t
Date wheel question - roo diver 15703st.oo.a002ca.01
Hey all- I just recently picked up a used stainless ROO Diver, G Serial from dated 2011. A buddy of mine picked up an H serial, also stainless diver. I noticed that his date wheel is different than mine. The H serial is from 2012, also used, same seller (trusted seller on trf that I have dealt with before)... I was curious if anyone has knows when AP changed the date wheel on this model?... I have also seen a G serial with the newer wheel. I'm assuming the G serial I saw may have been a later production with a different date wheel. If you go to the AP website the date wheel they show for the 3120 is the same as mine. I notice the difference in the ones and fours mainly from mine. .audemarspiguet/en/wat...02CA.01This is the type of thing which drives me crazy - I would love to know!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
I was just ripped off
Got a vintage watch where the minutehand looks like this. Not nice. The rest looks like crap too. But I was after this to a project.Genuine Omega inhouse.Cal 565.It will go just out to service. It will come back cleaned and with a correct adjusted swanneck.
