The Astronaut, the Shark & the Seamaster
Believe it or not, there is a Seamaster in these photos, but it is under the astronaut's sleeve. This guy is better known for wearing the Speedy Pro, but sharks don't like them as much.
Does Omega Provide Another 24 Month Warranty After Repair?
I sent my PO Chrono in for service under warranty. It just came back and I am putting it up for sale. Does anyone know if Omega provides another 24 months and if it is transferrable? It would be nice to be able to provide the buyer with a full warranty.
Variations on 5167 Tiffany stamp location
I recently noticed that the Tiffany-stamped 5167s I see online have their stamp in one of two places:1. Vertically centered in the second cell above the 6.media.tiffany/is/image/Ti..._940185_ED.jpg2. Top-aligned in the first cell above the 6.You can see both variations if you Google image search or search tiffanydial on Instagram:https://.instagram/explore/tags/tiffanydial/Has anyone else noticed this? Any more info/insight?
Question about Aquanaut bezel ...
I'm sure that this will make a lot of you cringe, but I wanted to know if anyone has ever attempted to touch up the brushed surface on the bezel? I know that a Rolex is not a PP but a number of us use a red scotch brite pad to touch up our Submariner's bracelet and it works perfectly. I'm not going to experiment with my new Aquanaut unless someone else has done so and has some experience. Thanks, Jonathan
Which would you buy? Near NOS or newer movement?
Question for the group. You have two different versions of an Explorer II 16570 to choose from, which would you buy:- 16570 D serial that looks almost as if it's NOS, still has hologram, box, no card. Watch was bought as a gift and then never worn according to original owner. No polishing whatsoever. Watch is from a local dealer with whom you already have a relationship and trust. Watch legitimately looks brand spanking new. 16570 M serial with the 3186, has signs of wear and lightly polished, bracelet has some wear, bezel not perfect with small minuscule dings, from trusted forum seller for about $400 more. Box and papers. You have no intention of reselling or flipping.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
