Watches NEWS
Panerai Luminor Composite 1950 3 Days – 47mm
One of the hits at SIHH 2010 was Panerai’s Radiomir Composite Marina Militare. For 2011 Panerai presents a new Special Edition in that sought-after material: the Luminor Composite 1950 3 Days – 47mm. The new piece combines the lightness, strength and durability of Panerai Composite with the new hand-wound P.3000 caliber, which is designed and produced in the Officine Panerai manufacture in Neuchatel. Look inside for pricing, availability dates, and wallpaper.Like last year’s Radiomir, the Luminor 1950 case in Panerai Composite measures 47 mm in diameter, a classic size for Panerai watches, and it has a durable, unique matte brown appearance. Made of the same material are the bridge protecting the winding crown with the classic clamping lever and the round bezel which surrounds the sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment. Water-resistant to 100 meters, the case has the polished crystal back which enables the movement to be seen. The spare dial too is dark brown
Does age of the watch matter when purchasing RO?
Hi,I have an opportunity to purchase a 2005 15300 RO in good condition. I am a bit disappointed to learn that the watch is a 2005, so it's close to 8 years old..pared to say 2011, 2010 which I have no problems accepting. It's like buying a used car, we always choose newer & low KM cars.. Does the same concept work for watches? Are there are differences between RO made then and now...things like clasp? Thanks,
Finally a Pic...
Dear CollectorsCan anybody provide information if the Chronograph 2018 existed without the Date window?I've got a Breitling on my desk which seems legit, but I can't find any Pics on the internet with a dial without the Datewindow.Maybe somebody knows more.I'll upload a pic asap.thanks in advance.Alex
New Arrival Tomorrow!!!
Hi Guys,It's been almost two years since I sold my first Omega to fund my GMT Master II. Everyday since then I have regreted it and have wanted to purchased another as soon as I could afford it. Well, tomorrow Fedex will deliver a package to my door!! I can't wait for the feel of an Omega on my wrist once again! The unvailing will be tomorrow!!!
Little annoyed
My pam111 p which I purchased in dec seems to be gaining too much time circa 1 min a day !!!!Spoken to panerai who have stated it's under warranty so they can rectify this. however, they will require the watch for approx 6 weeks which seems like a very long time ...Since I've had my PAM, my Rolex has had no wrist time at all!!! Looks like that's going to change for a couple months .....Anyone else had this issue with their PAM?
