Omega and Cartier Comparison
Since I have no experience with Omega and Cartier watches, are they both in the same class? In terms of movement, I would assume Omega has the upper edge. However, with brand recognition, resale value, reliability, design, and elegance, which would come on top?
Speedmaster Automatic 3510.50
Hi all,Looking for some experienced opinions of what seems to be an awful lot of pre owned Speedmaster Reduced automatics on Ebay lately. I am looking to pick one up but am starting to wonder how some of these Ebay sellers in Japan just keep putting them on as fast as the prior ones sell. Here are some links. Many of these sellers have two and three on at a time week in and week out. Would like to get your thoughts on whether these are authentic or not. Thanks so much!cgi.ebay/OMEGA-Speedmaste...item20b75ab13dcgi.ebay/Omega-Speedmaste...item588ccdf38ccgi.ebay/Omega-Speedmaste...item5197f6578f1979 Rolex 5513 MKIII LollipopRolex Explorer 1Ball Fireman 40mmEterna KonTiki 20
Thoughts on 5980
So I own this watch. Really like the watch. But it's a hair small on me. I'm 6'4. And the 40mm size is a tad small. Thought about trading it in but where do you think the future values of this piece are going? Is it still desirable on the secondary market or has the 5990 or other nautilus pieces become more popular?Would appreciate your thoughts.
Should I get rid of my PAM and upgrade to a Nautilus
Hi All,I have had my PAM 328 for a little over 5 years and enjoyed it during the time and bought 8-10 different OEM and aftermarket straps to use interchangeably. Recently, I have been adding higher end pieces to my collection (Patek Annual Calendar and VC Patrimony) and haven't really worn the PAM as much anymore. Also, compared with the rest of the watches in my collection it just wears really bulky and heavy. Recently, I found that the automatic winding mechanism was not working so took it in for repair, complete overhaul and polish. $1,000 but it came back look brand new and running great. Now my dilemma is, should I keep it and try to learn to enjoy it like I did once before, or should I just go ahead and sell it now that it is back in mint condition and try to trade up for something better. Recently I tried on the Nautilus 5712 and was amazed at how much more comfortable that felt on my wrist than the PAM. The 5712 is a lot more coin but think it would fit better with my curr
The worst things about strap addiction...
The worst things about strap addiction...10. Being able to guess the strap maker from pics9. Looking at materials around you and thinking that'd make a good strap8.
