Tissot Watches Become Official Timekeeper Of NBA Basketball
Swatch Group-owned Tissot watches has just announced a major multi-year deal to become the official timekeeper of the NBA (National Basketball Association) and its associated entities. The deal means that Tissot will be prominently displayed in all NBA, WNBA, and other NBA-related events as the association's official timekeeper. This is big news, as American basketball is one of the more recent sports to be the recipient of heavy investments from Swiss watch makers. While there have been various deals among watch brands and teams or players, to my knowledge, there has not yet been (in recent history) any official timekeeper of the NBA at large.Tissot's relationship with the NBA is rather massive. In addition to Tissot-brand timers and game and shot clocks, Tissot will have the right to produce Tissot timepieces with any of the NBA team logos on it, as well as clocks, and other accessories. So you can appreciate that while some people might not want NBA-branded timepieces, the Tissot/NB
Baz Persaud Horological Cuff Links Review
Obviously, we spend a lot of time here at watches-dealer focusing in on wristwatches. If you survey the larger watch community (particularly on social media), you will notice that a lot of focus is also given to things you might call "wrist adjacent" (such as bracelets), and just overall style. Today, we have a hands-on look at something that is very much wrist adjacent that will certainly up the style of your shirts - the Baz Persaud Horological Cuff Links. When you think of watch-related cufflinks, you probably think of the ones that use salvaged vintage movements, generally in rectangular shapes. While those are interesting in their own right, what we have with the Baz Persaud Horological Cuff Links is something that is a good deal more elegant and refined. For starters, lets talk material. The cufflinks themselves are made of solid sterling silver, and then plated with either white rhodium (to match the finish of many white gold watches) or rose gold. How do we get to the designs th
Baume & Mercier Add New Models To Its William Baume Editions: The Retrograde, Ultraflat, And Tourbillon Watches
At Baume et Mercier (aka Baume & Mercier), the William Baume name has always applied to very classic simple watches. If you want a handsome and timeless Swiss watch that won't utterly devastate your bank account, the William Baume collection is usually a good place to look. Now, getting a bit more serious with the line, Baume et Mercier takes an interesting new direction that is almost Teutonic in design. The William Baume Retrograde, Ultraflat, and Tourbillon have a decidedly retro appeal to them from design of the lugs to the classic guilloche machine work on the dial. Each of the watches comes in a limited edition of only 178 pieces each, but the Tourbillon is limited to only 10 pieces. While there are three new models, they each share a lot of the same design cues. The cases are very compact looking, especially with the Ultraflat, and are in rose gold. Case width is also comparable at 41mm. There is lug designs which are worth noting as well. The look is very 1960s. I would say
the 2 subdial speedmaster is amazing!
i got to try it out. its 44mm but it is not huge at all. even my 6.5 inch wrist can handle it.its flat and very comfortable. its dial is big and very legible. you can feel that its backed up with a great movement and high tech manufacturing.just want to express my admiration for these new omega watches.it was calling out to me but i still stuck with the planet ocean.
Anyone can help?
Been trying to send PM to some member on the Forums but it seems that the system logged me out and said I have no privilege at all. Can anyone help? Belated Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to you and your loved ones! Cheers Andrew
