Richard Mille RM 011 RED TPT Quartz Watch
The famed Richard Mille RM 011 watch gets yet another limited edition version, this time using a stunningly bold, red "TPT quartz" case for the Richard Mille RM 011 RED TPT Quartz watch. What is TPT quartz? It is a quartz mineral and carbon compound produced by NTPT for mostly boating and racing needs. Richard Mille has worked with the company to develop how they can use the interesting material for watch cases. Richard Mille first introduced a TPT quartz cased-watch earlier in 2015 with the also limited edition RM 27-02 TPT Quartz Rafael Nadal watch. The Richard Mille RM 011 Red TPT Quartz employs a red-colored TPT quartz material paired with another interesting material which is NTPT carbon. These materials together make the case of the watch. watches-dealer went hands-on with the first Richard Mille NTPT watch here which was the RM 35-01 Rafael Nadal. From boating and racing to tennis...Nevertheless,?the Richard Mille RM 011 "Felipe Massa" watch collection has always been about racin
Speedmaster Questions
I tried on a Speedmaster Professional at a local AD today. Wow, what a great watch. I loved checking it out after having seen them on the 'net so much. I tried on the model with sapphire crystal, display back and leather strap -- I believe that is the 3873.50.31. I really liked it. Here are a few questions for the speedmaster aficianados out there:1. What do you think of the display back? I'm drawn to it because it's an extra feature and the decorated movement looks cool. But, I've had display backs before and I rarely take a watch off to actually look at the movement. I wonder if it is worth the money to have the display back, especially considering the differences from the more historically accurate speedmaster pro -- i.e., sapphire v. hesalite and 861 v. 1861 movement. I read that the 1861 swapped out some stronger plastic parts for aesthetic reasons. I think the hesalite and 861 are better, but that display back is cool.2. Is $3900 less 10% a good price from an AD. See
Ceramic vs carbotech
Would you rather own full ceramic (case and bracelet) Pam 438?Ceramic Pam 441?Or Carbotech Pam 661?My birthday is end of November and I am already planning a gift for 2018 lol. Just bought a 511 so no more watch for a year as per an agreement with the wifey !Anyway, I am leaning towards those three but am a bit concerned on the versatility of a full black watch. I really like the Tuttonero but wonder in the long run if the black on black, on black, might be too much with not enough pop and contrast. After all I am used to SS the most.So which one and why? Or is it better to stick with titanium and steel? Currently I only have a Pam 511 that I will NEVER sell as I am at last REALLY content with this one. My goal is to have a two watch collection. Thanks for reading, Sent from my A1601 using Tapatalk
AD Visit Yesterday
Yet another empty case. A grand total of two sport models. Loads of empty watch holders. Sad really. I told them I fell bad for the stores out there that can't get watches to sell. He said they have not received any sort of letter from Rolex or been told anything specific about stock. Said he never knows what he's going to receive from week to week but that it has been rare to get more than a couple sport models at a time.Anyway, the two they had were the Yacht Master II Stainless, and the Deep Sea Black. If anyone is looking for either of those in the Baltimore/Washington region shoot me a PM and I'll get you the contact info
Rolex Airking 2016 crown part number?
So I am wondering if anyone here can help me out. I am chasing down a new crown of my Airking (aka ODB) since the original one got cracked in the road rash it suffered. But I need a good part number and I have not been able to find it. I assume it is the 24-724-0 like the Milgauss but I have no way to confirm that. Anyone out there have any idea? Thanks ahead of time.Terryhttps://.rolexforums/showthread.php?t=531564
