My wife and I were happy that TRF member HK IslandBoy visited our neighborhood tonight. It was great to try on his AP, talk watches, and enjoy some food & drinks together Sent from my SM-G9550 using Tapatalk
Winning and losing !
I have a 26320 which might need service. I have tested it over several days , the first day it lost 47 sec the next day it was 1.35 min ahead , it gained 2 min ????3 day its still ahead with 39 sec. The last 3 days its been on my wrist , i also tested it while it was in the drawer , here it mainly lost time. Power reserve is at 35 hours. Its almost 3 years with only 1 month of warranty left. Ive had a few AP and almost all of them need attention within the warranty period ? Is this really so common ?
Another Example of Poor Patek Customer Service
When our home was broken into a couple weeks ago I lost a number of watches and was advised to contact manufacturers with serial numbers, etc. Lange and AP replied within 24 hours, and after receiving my information followed up (including a call from Germany by Lange!) to let me know my watches were registered as having been stolen, how their registry worked, who to contact with further questions, etc.I have now sent several emails to Patek over the past two weeks without any reply whatsoever.I will be replacing the Lange and AP watches pretty soon - may hold off on further purchases from Patek.
Do you use your Rolex to check the time?
I'm worried that constantly lifting and turning my wrist to check the time will damage the movement. Anyone else have the same concern? I'm thinking of getting a beater for my other wrist to tell time, and save the Rolex for when I need to impress a woman when she asks me what time it is.
Bezel Protector for Explorer1 214270
I'm struggling to find one-bought my Explorer1 new & stickered privately but the owner had not retained it!Any suggestions please? Would one for a 40mm Airking do the trick as there's one for sale in the UK?
