Jaquet Droz "The Writer" Automata: Awesome Antique Android
Watch brands like to pump up their history a lot. This is especially true in Europe where with age comes legitimacy. It also helps when your history includes impressive things. A lot of today's watch brands that bear vintage names don't always have the most interesting histories. Much of them can be summed up as "man X did in fact make watches or clocks 150 - 200 years ago." Two of the names that do come with a really impressive history are Breguet and Jaquet Droz (both conveniently owned by the Swatch Group now).Breguet is well considered to be the father of modern watch making. GP strap with red details - Ref no.?
After seeing some amazing pics of RG 44 on the GP strap I was thinking of giving that combo a try. Can someone please help me with the reference number and price? Does it come in one size or you have options? Where can I order one? RgdsUrooj
A client gave me a gift
.omegawatches/spirit/l...h-time/summaryOne of my clients surprised me with a gift this week - Omega's Journey Through Time compendium! I was blown away, it was such a kind gesture on his part and a staggering book for an Omega buff. I highly recommend it if you were considering picking it up. It's 800 pages, 10 pounds, and illustrated to the extreme. Very little text, mostly images of watches, components, advertising and props. The scope is ridiculous, I've never seen ANY watch book cover as many models and variations from a single company.

114060 or 116710ln
Hello all, I got the itch again to add to the collection again debating between these two I already have a 116610lv, would adding 116710ln be better to diversify my stable or would adding another steel sub be to redundant. Thanks to all in advance
