New Cyrus Kambys Watch Will Be Part Of Only Watch 2013 Auction
Cyrus, a boutique high-end Swiss watch brand will soon unveil their new Kambys watch at Baselworld 2013 with a movement designed by the very well regarded Mr. Jean-Francois Mojon. Using a curved case typical to the brand, the 50mm wide watch contains an impressively designed movement produced (according to the brand) 100% in-house (rubies and all). This is also the very first timepiece that has been announced that will be part of the Only Watch 2013?auction in Monaco. According to Cyrus, the very first model in this limited edition Kambys collection will be auctioned off at the event in September. The most interesting element of the Kambys is the power reserve indicator. The manually wound caliber 7778 movement has a power reserve of seven days. It uses three stacked cylinders on the right-side of the case which slowly fall as the power reserve indicator goes from full to empty. We wouldn't call it a technical improvement, but it is merely something new and interesting for otherwise bore
Romain Jerome Chrono Tourbillon Limited Edition Watch
The newest high-end wrist watch from Romain Jerome is another version of their Titanic DNA and tourbillon collection. The naming of the brand's watches has gotten shorter over the years which is a good thing, but the DNA hasn't changed. I appreciate that the name of the watch is just the "Romain Jerome Chrono Tourbillon."The case is the same 46mm wide size that RJ has been using for a few years. I still like the looks of it even though it is a unique style. Not everyone likes the oxidized steel bezel look. It is part of the Titanic DNA concept trying to replicate the look of metal that has been under water. Actually, it isn't so much trying to look like but is. Each of these bezels is oxidized under water to get the signature look. The metal used has a bit of metal recovered from the actual Titanic ship as part of the collection's ongoing theme. For this collection there will be three models available. Each are limited editions. Actually all Romain Jerome watches are limited editions. T
15305 openworks
I'm not a huge AP guy, so forgive my ignorance. Is the 15305 a boutique only model? I've always loved the look of the royal oak and own a 15400, but there's just something about the skeleton. People will probably say duh , but these watches are hard to find. Just curious what the diehard AP guys know. Thanks!
Stunning AP!
I wanted to thank Oscar again for making this happened for me. He's the best........This is such an awesome watch and pic don't do justice.
My Grail Omega 321
Hello Folks i want to share with you some info about my Grail Omega 321 the serial number is Only 49 Watches Away From Neil Armstrong's, this Omega Speedmaster is as Moon-ish As It You may know that Tuesday, July 20 will mark 41 years since man first walked on the moon. Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins all used Omega Speedmasters on their Apollo 11 flight, as we've told you many times. When Neil and Buzz took the lunar module down the surface, Neil left his Speedy on board because the mission timer in the module had failed, while Buzz wore his Speedy to the surface of the moon. After returning to earth, Buzz mailed his Speedy to the Smithsonian, but it was unfortunately lost or stolen in transit, never having surfaced to this day. Keep your eyes open for it!We do, however, know the reference and serial numbers of Neil's Speedy, which is in the collection of the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum: reference number 105.012-65 (the first asymmetric Speedy case with crown-gua
