What type of seconds hand do you prefer?
If you could have any type of seconds hand on your favorite Patek reference (regardless of what type is currently used on that reference) which type would you prefer?1. Center sweep2. Small seconds hand/subdial3. No seconds hand
Some questions..thanks in advance....
Hi friendsI would like to know what all models Panerai hand wound but that the movement is not in house Panerai but other mechanisms that I think your brand is ETA. Someone could helpe me? I think they are the 000/005/111/104 do not know if there are others. That mechanism has 001 Firenze? Hand wound? As the 564? And what was your price list?Thank you.
Spare of the moment purchase
As a Rolex fan, I've not had a Panerai for the last few years. I sold my first and only PAM 104 to a work colleague about three years ago and bought myself a Sea Dweller with the funds.Years have passed and I've never gave any though to owning another Panerai, until last night.Whilst doing a weekly food shop I was drawn to the Panerai boutique window, once inside I looked at all of the high end Panerai's only to keep going back to the Submersible in the shop portal window. Anyway to cut a long story short within ten minutes I was a PAM 0024 owner and back in the Panarai gang again.Pictures to follow.
Panerai Service Alternatives
I've recently joined the Panerai family and have what I think is an awesome 121. It is about 11 years old and looks pretty damn good. The two problems I have with it are that it loses about a minute a day and the top chronograph button is very hard to push. Now I know people are much more likely to complain about a problem than praise good or excellent service, but I am a little leery of sending my watch to Ft Worth (unlike my recent good experiences with RSC Dallas). So I can't find much about satisfaction with alternatives like Govbergs in Philly. They seem to handle practically all makes and models. And with this being an El Primero movement, the fact that they also are Zenith ADs is comforting. Any advice would be appreciated.
